The whole house was lighten up with small bulbs, diyas and the strings decorated with bulbs, The red roses decorated on the ceilings, Stairs, aangan and mandir looked delightful, The Mandap sat in between the aangan covered with Liles, roses, hibiscus and tulips,
The four pillars representing the four stages of life "brahmacharya, grihastha, vanaprastha and sannyasa" were stood beautifully with the mesmerizing decoration of curtains, fabrics and flowers
Everyone sitting around the mandap with eyes brightening at the beautiful decoration and pleasant sacred fire in the between

Pandit sitting at one side under the shed of the night sky which was looking more magnificent today with stars and Poornachandr embroidered on the sheet of black velvet night as if giving blessings to the couple that's going to get tied in the bond of seven lives today, The stars brightening even more as if smiling to the pretty scene beneath them

Saraswati and sarpanch sat themselves on the other side, beside pandit ji where abhiraj sat in front of him, Wearing the Golden coloured sherwani with sehra and flowers hanging from the plates that was sewed to the sehra's clothes
The holy mantra were started to chant from pandit's mouth, Ghee pouring into the sacred fire blew the sparks to the safeful height
"Dulhan ko bulaya Jaye" His mouth slipped off the words causing abhiraj's heartbeats to race out of nervousness and excitement
An hidden smile formed on his lips, when the giggling of the anklets fell in his ear, Raising his head to the direction, His eyes fell on her
The heavy Red lehnga on her figure with the choli wrapped around her frame, The net-dupatta veil of brown colour sat on her whole face and Eyes fixed to ground
The gold jewelleries in her neck and ears with strings connecting to her hairs that are further sat in an long thick braid, Which is tugged with real roses looked mesmerising, The maang tikka between her middle part and thick eyeliner on her eyes visible to his view
Slowly taking her steps towards the mandap, Nandini sat beside abhiraj and folded her legs,

"Bhaiya, pandit ji per dhyan dijiye" Abhinav who was sitting behind abhiraj Whispered in his ears, Clearing his throat abhiraj nodded his head and looked in his forward

"Vadhu ka hath apne hath me lein" Pandit pressed while signalling towards abhiraj, smiling small, He glanced at nandini, whose eyes were still fixed to the ground
He took her hands into his, The string of flower tied around her wrist with bangles,
The bangles giggled in his soft touch and nandini finally looked at his face, Giving an assuring smile to her, he kept his hands beneath her hand and took the Holy flowers in her palm that priest were giving them

They stood up for the seven pheras, that will bound them in the love of seven lives,  After Completing the pheras in which abhiraj will walk ahead, He softly grabbed nandini's hand and made her walk in front of him , holding onto her heavy skirt lightly, He cared the dupatta and skirt from the fire

Sitting back and taking the vows of nourishing each other in rich and poor, better and worse, in sickness and in health, to love and cherish, till death do them apart, Abhiraj finally took the pinch full of holy sindoor in his fingers

Slowly pulling up the veil of nandini, his eyes fell on her face, The surma in her eyes and thick eyeliner on her eye lids, The eyelashes brimmering to look upwards and Dark red lips like rose feathering upon each other in nervousness, An awwed filled his heart
Smiling lightly, He held the golden maang tikka from his left hand revealing the golden ring of his engagement, He filled the partition of her hairs with The sindoor
Some fell on her nose and when he was going clean it up, Nandini held the hem of his sherwani "Sindoor ka naak per ghirna shubh hota hai"

He smiled and his eyes fell on his name on her hand written in henna print, He nodded his head and pulled down the veil again

Bringing the mangalsutra toward her neck, He tied it around her neck and gave her an assuring smile, she finally looked towards him with small tears shining in her eyes, understanding the emotions of her as an bride, He softly patted her shoulder and Now, they were announced as the Husband and wife for the rest of their seven lives

Nandini POV
I sat inside the car in the back seat and roamed my eyes to the interior, Abhiraj ji was standing outside and talking to Virat Bhai and I looked beside me outside the window when Anushka bhabhi came
Roop slept by now as she is in crucial months of her pregnancy and bhabhi was still there for me, she softly ruffled my hairs and pecked my forehead
"Apna khayal rakhna nandu" she said while slight tears were seen in her eyes

I smiled and nodding my head, I embraced her in an small hug from the car and the tears that I was holding for so long made their way to my cheeks, Soft sobs left my mouth and I felt bhabhi patting my head
"Bhabhi aapki bhot yaad aayegi" I sniffled while pulling away she chuckled and flicked my head

"Mujhe bhi, per koi baat nahi abh do din baad pag phera ki rasam ke liye tumhe vapis aana hi hai tabh bhot maze karenge" she said while smiling softly
I nodded my head and My eyes fell on maa and baba, who were engrossed in talking to my in-laws  now
They already met me before and talked to me for so long but My heart isn't willing to stop from having conversations with them

My attention diverted when the door shut closed behind me and I turned to find abhiraj ji sitting inside the car, I again turned my head to my parents and Bhai and bidding them good bye with tears in our eyes and smiles on our lips, I drifted off

I sat comfortably on my seat and started to play with my fingers, An calm silence took over the place but I felt the whole storms in my heart
Looking outside the window, I felt the cold breeze Falling on tear stained cheeks while new tears pelt down more, Few slight tears fell on my hands and I felt someone's hold on them

Quickly brushing off the tears from the other hand, I looked beside me
An assuring smile plastered on his face, The rolled up moustache with nice shaved beard with tilak between his eyebrows
An soothen feeling ran through my spine when I found him calmly looking at me
I nodded my head at his gestures and looked back outside the window,

Abhiraj POV
I looked at her face and bringing back my hands to the place, I smiled at her side profile
The moonlight brightening her fair skin tone in it's blue shine, The strands on her hairs falling behind her ears by the flow of cold breeze and the red hue on her cheeks and small nose because of slight tears

An small sadness took over me looking at her tear stained cheeks, Not being able to say anything to her,I watched her sleepy eyes falling into an slumber

I turned to the back of the car and bringing out an shawl, I wrapped her frame in the shawl, Luckily, she didn't woke up

Rolling up windows from her side, I came closer to her figure and when I was about to pull away, Her head fell on my shoulder
Admiring the beautiful view of her sleepy face, I sat straight and let her cling onto my arm to sleep nicely, The innocence of her face sparkling from her sleep, An small smile formed on my lips

Cheeks squished by my shoulder and lips formed in an pout, I awwed at her her and playing softly with her hair strands, We covered the whole journey
