Abhiraj took his towel from the balcony and made his way towards his room, when aahana stopped him in between
"Beta, aaj office jaoge?" She asked with an pleading eyes, abhiraj smiled at her and ruffled her hairs
"Haan maa, I know aap chahte ho ki aaj rehne du, per abh ek hafte ki leave khatam ho gayi hai, mujhe office jakar fir se kaam sambhalna padega" he said assuring her
Aahana whinned at him, who just shaked his head in denial and went inside his room to take an bath, Pouting at him in annoyance, she made her way towards the kitchen, stomping her feet
She entered the kitchen and her eyes fell on nandini, who was dressed in an soft-red saree with hairs tied up in an bun and few strands making their way out from the bun
The bangles giggling in her hands, while she is peeling off the vegetables, while Nisha kaki was kneading the dough
"Aaj kya ban Raha hai Nisha" aahana asked while standing beside nandini, who smiled at her in greeting
"Aloo ke parathe" Nisha replied while putting the platter on the slab again, Nodding her head in the response, Aahana was going to get back to her work, when her steps halted as her eyes fell on something

"Lagta hai, hame pota-poti Dene ki taiyaari kar rahe hai dono" aahana whispered in Nisha's ear in excitement and hugged her in happiness
Nandini who was engrossed in her world, heard her squealing and turned to her with confusion "Kya hua maa?" She asked with eyebrows knitted in puzzlement
"Kuch nahi beta, tumhare gale me ye haar kafi sunder lag raha hai" aahana said smiling cheekily, Nandini touched her necklace in an moment and thanked her
"Shukriya maa" she smiled and got back to her work, Aahana who was still smiling, suddenly, turned serious when the purpose of her visit striked her
Going behind nandini, she tapped her shoulder, Turning to her with an smile, Nandini asks "ji maa?"
"Beta, aaj abhiraj kaaryalay ja raha hai" aahana said in an sad tone and made fist of her hands,
Nandini nodded her head in confusion slowly and said "jii haan, unhone btaya tha"
Aahana's face that was holding an fake-sad pout fell and she looked at nandini with scowl on her face
Palming her face, she agains looks at nandini, "Per abhi kuch din pehle hi tum dono ki shaddi hui hai toh abhi use kaaryalay jaana chahiye ki nahi?" She asked with raised eyebrows as if expecting an good answer
"Agar, jaroori kaam ho toh ja sakte hai" nandini said with innocence and an small smile formed on her lips
Aahana's face again fell and she looked at Nandini with "seriously" look, Nandini straightened herself at the heating moment now
"Tum rehne do, Tum bas vo karna Jo me keh rahi hu, theek hai?" Aahana said while holding nandini's face in her palm with hope
Nandini nodded her head in an yes, and smiling to her, aahana whispered something in nandini's ear
