Did It Feel Good?

Did it feel good?

Having your fingers interlace with my neck,

Pressure building underneath your grasp,

Burning my chest as my lungs weaken.

Did it feel good?

Degrading me and tearing me apart,

My body, mind, and soul ripped to shreds as your booming voice floods my ears.

Did it feel good?

Dragging me around like your rag doll,

Throwing me to the side when you no longer wanted me,

Holding me so tight that it makes it hard to breathe or escape,

Did it feel good?

Watching me suffer and cower before you,

Seeing the life drain from my eyes as I edured your abuse,

Fearing for my life one minute and feeling like I was already dead the next.

Did it feel good?

Melting my skin under your cigarette,

Releasing your anger on the girl you so called loved.

Scarring me in more ways than one,

Leaving painful memories that paralyze me and stay embedded in my brain.

Did it feel good to be a monster?
