The accident

♡Laneys POV♡

With all that's in my power

I was used and.

abused Til I was sweet and sour

I kissed you and kissed you

And gave you all my sugar

You knew that I'd be useless

If I let you know

I thought it would be OK

And we shared everything

Went to sleep with superhero

And he woke up a villain

Connor and I were singing-more like yelling- Cher Lloyds song, Superhero. All of the sudden a bright white light engulfs the car and Connor and I cover our eyes. It all happend so fast, after we covered our eyes the car collided with another one, then darkness took over

Beep. Beep. Beep. Beep. I groaned throwing my arm over my face but yelping when a cord pulls a needle from my hand. What the heck? The beeping gets louder and faster as several people in white coats rush in. Where am I? One of them reattachs the needle and cord into my hand.

"Where am I?" I manage to croak out, all eyes shoot towards me as I speak.

"Your in the hospital. Can you tell us why your here?" The one who attached the needle thing into my hand. I shook my head,

"No, I cant remember my name. Who am I?" I looked arourd confused. The doctors exchanged looks then just walked out. I stared at the door confused until the door creaked open. A tall, skinny boy with light brown hair, blueish-greenish eyed walked over to my bed. He had a bandage on his head and hand, a brace on his wrist and one on his knee. He grabbed my hand, I jerked it away and his eyed filled with hurt. Who is he? Am I supposed to know him?

"Sally don't you know who I am?" he asked.

"Whos sally? who are you?" I scooted away,

"No no no no no!" he exclaimed, " Okay listen to me -I nodded- your name is Laney Hart, your nickname is Sally, I am Connor, you call me Con da bon, Im your best friend. We were in a car wreck 3 days ago, you just woke up this morning,. Im so sorry this is all my fault!" he cried into his hands. Okay I don't know who this boy is but I do know I don't like to see people cry.

"Uhh... I-its okay?" it came out as more of a question, I awkwardly pat his back. He sniffled

"Do you remember anything?" he asks. I nod and his eyes light up,

"Well I know im human so I have parents, uh what were there names?" I mused,

"Mallory and Luke."

"What?"

"Mallory and Luke Hart. Your mom and dad." I made and 'O' shape with my mouth. Then the person in the white coat comes back in,

"Hi Laney, im Dr. Drakefield, how are you feeling? " he asks shaking my hand,

"Sore and Confused and... Hungry." I reply, they both chuckled at me.

"Okay so you still don't remember anything?" I shake my head, he looks at the boy beside my bed. Connor, I think was his name.

"Since you are the closest person right now I need to talk to you." Connor halts,

"Wheres Mallory and Luke?" he asks

"Not here yet" Dr.Drakefield replied simply. He nodded and followed him out. I layed back and let sleep wash over me.

》Connors Pov《

"Mr.Franta I want to show you something." I nodded and he pointed towards Laneys X-Rays. "See that big white spot on her brain?" he asked

"Yes sir." I crossed my arms over my chest.

"Okay well thats where her Memory should be, but since its white that means she has lost it." I nodded "I know you are very worried about your girlfriend-"

"Shes my BESTfriend not my GIRLfriend." I corrected,

"Well whatever she is she won't remember you, so you will have to jog her ole memory. Got it?" he asks me, I nod

"Yes sir, thanks for everything doc," he nodded and walked away. I sat on the chair outside her room. I have lost my bestfriend. I promise you Laney, I will fight to bring your memory back.
