Since I didn't get the job, I decided to go back to my old job at this day it's simple coffee by night it's full of alcohol

I guess you could say it's like Starbucks but with an edge at the end

I took a two hour day shift, serving coffee and taking orders for customers

I was in the middle of serving coffee to a customer when my boss called me up

"Y/N, come here for a sec"

I hand the coffee to the customer then walked to where my boss was "What's up?"

"Nothing just glad you're back" he cleared his throat "It was quiet without you here you know customers love you"

"Don't plan on anything at least not right now only help you out with customers"

He smiles a little "Nice to know my granddaughter wants to help her grandpappy"

I gave him a small hug "After everything you've done for me, I want to help as much as I can"

He rub my shoulder "Go take the order unless you want to see me cry"

I kissed his cheek "You got it, boss"

I go back to serving coffee to customers and interacting with them so far good but then I noticed someone leaving and something left behind with a tip

I went to where they were sitting, picking up the note that was left behind

I opened the letter only to find a message in it

Beauty isn't about having a pretty face
It is about having a pretty mind, a pretty heart and most importantly a beautiful soul

I went back to doing what I was doing, setting up an order for a customer

I was in the middle of pouring a cup of coffee, when I heard a voice I didn't think I'd hear which startled me causing me to burn my hand

I quickly grabbed a towel and wiped my hand before turning around only to see them again

I cleared my throat "Welcome. How may I help you?"

"Can you give us the best coffee served?"

I began to make their order, simple coffee with a flavor that will make your taste buds love, sugar and most importantly from what my grandpappy taught me, Love

I hand them their coffee and watched them take a sip of the coffee then licked their lips slowly after the first taste

"Sweet very sweet" they paid then left

I watched them leave, I sigh and went back to doing what I was doing

Two hours had already passed and I finished my shift when I heard my grandpappy call me

"Y/N, I need you to a night shift tonight"

I pushed my glasses up "I don't know. You know I've never done a night shift before"

"I know I know but Craig cancelled on me and Janice needs all the help she can get. Please Y/N just for tonight"

I thought about it very carefully before giving my answer to him

"Alright Grandpappy I'll do it but you owe me"

He gave me a hug and kissed my forehead "Thank you Y/N. Be here at 8 and Janice will be up serving beers"

"You got it, boss" I smile

He rubs the back of my head "Don't be late"

A few hours later, right on time I was helping out Janice with the drinks

"Y/N, 2 beers" I hear Janice call out an order

I opened 2 beer bottles before handing it to her

Since it was my first night shift I was totally unaware about what happens at night

Example, sure there's alcohol but I wasn't expecting this place to be like a night club

I looked around as people drink and dance to loud music

"How are you enjoying this shift?" I hear Janice ask me

"It's alright but is it usually like this?"

She wrapped her arm around me "No but your grandpa has a way with people"

She points out my grandpappy interacting with a group of girls as they laughed at his jokes

"Never asked him but I think it's when he comes up to people he has a nice introduction and flash his smile at them"

We went back to serving drinks and making some for those who asked for it to be strong

"Hey you" I turn around to see someone I dislike at this time

"What do you want, Greg?" Annoyed at the fact he was here

"I can't visit my girl where works"

"Actually you can't if she doesn't want to see you" I look at my grandpappy as he was behind Greg

Greg turned around to face him "Mr Y/L/N, nice to see you. I just came to see Y/N" he said it like nothing bad happened between he and I

"Greg, why can't you get it through your head we're done"

"We're not done, Y/N you know you didn't mean it" Already he's pissing me off

My grandpappy grabbed Greg by his hair and shirt "You heard the young lady. She wants nothing to do with you" he threw out and informed security not to let Greg in

At around 1am, the night shift was over for me

Janice gave me a hug "Thanks for helping me tonight, kid"

"No problem. I'll see you soon, Janice"

I put on my jacket before walking out the place and began to walk to a direction

During the walk to home, I heard a noise behind me

I turned around but nothing is there, I made a turn only to collide with someone and their hands grabbing me by my arms

When I looked up, just my luck it's Greg again. I tried to pull back but he wouldn't let me go

"You're mine, Y/N. Do you understand?" He pressed me against the wall, trying to put his hand in my pants

"Let me go, Greg!" I tried pushing him off

Next thing I knew Greg was pulled off, not by one but five

It was them, Fifth Harmony. Beating up Greg

"Come near her again. It will be worse" Leaving Greg on the ground

They go to me, making sure I was okay and safe

"C'mon you're coming with us not out here"
