"Y/n~~~ I wanna cuddleee" Saying that Ace jumped on the bed where I was laying
I moved and he fell into the hard mattress
"OUCH" He fake cried
"Aaha, stay away!" I said
"Why?" He asked angry
"Because my sister almost got bullied by the nurses for you!" Accused Umi
"WHATTTT?"
".... It's not their fault, we are too close considering our relationship" I mumbled
"Oh? And What's our relationship Y/n?" Asked Ace in a serious tone all of a sudden...
"Huh? We.... are friends...... --"
Are we? To began with people become friends on their own.... Not because they are dependent on someone..... We are friendly with Ace because he is protecting us
"You are our saviour Ace" I said and Ace's eyes widened
"You saved us, right now too... You are saving us..." I answered
The whole room was quite for some second
"That was sooo cringeeee" Said Umi disgusted
"I HATE YOU" i shouted at her embarrassed, moving away from Ace's arms
"So... You need me right?" Asked Ace suddenly looking straight at me

"Of course I do?" I answered confused... We will be some homeless criminal escaping the navy if Ace wasn't here right now
I imagined us shivering in the cold while eating just stolen fruits

"What's gotten into you all of a sudden?" I asked worried but hugged him back
"So kind of you to include me" Said Umi
Hugging back just for a while... Isn't gonna change anything right?..... It's okay if it's just for today... I guess

"The next island is the last before we reach the Grandline" Said Deuce
It was storming outside, all of us were wearing sweaters, except Ace of course
"Y/n, Umi you guys are shaking" Said Deuce
... They don't have heaters on pirates ships.....
"Comeee heree~~ let me warm you up~~" Said Ace as he came to hug me and I ran from him as we are in front of everyone
He has gotten more clingy since that day
"Oi I am cold too, heat me up" Said Umi
"Piss off" Replied Ace as he gave her the middle finger
I smacked him
"Bitch she is too small for that"
"Ahhhaahaha fun aside, the next island is... Loguetown" Said Deuce in a serious tone
"Oh" Said Ace as he stopped running around
I have read the Ace side novel, Deuce was the only crew member who knew abour Ace's dad before Ace joined the Whitebeard pirates
"You okay right Ace" asked Deuce
"Of course, let's get out of there as soon as possible" Replied Ace
"Looks like captain doesn't want any trouble this time" Said skull with a smirk
