Colin's POV
Ivy shouted at me because of frustration and told me that she was leaving so I immediately left and went to the cafe.
As I arrived, I saw Ivy and Grayson already talking but... Ivy is smiling?
I know Ivy is a good actress but her smile right now is so not fake...
Her eyes are sparkling, and she's laughing... I haven't seen her laugh since the day her Mom left.
Grayson opened the door for Ivy and they entered the cafe so I followed them.
I let them order first and wait for them
I saw them talking and laughing, enjoying their time.
I texted Ivy to ask Grayson for his number and she immediately looked around until her eyes landed on me. I was talking to her by blinking morse code but got interrupted by Grayson.
They talked again and after some time, Ivy looked at me while blinking a morse code telling me to meet her at the park. After saying good bye to Grayson, she left the cafe and I followed her.
"You didn't tell me you were coming" Ivy said while crossing her arms
"You didn't ask..." I said while smiling innocently and Ivy looked at me and rolled her eyes
"You're still the same old Collin" She stated
I mean, she always says that. There's nothing new... If I'm still the same old Collin, then you are not the same Ivy. You've changed a lot.
Ivy's POV
"You're still the same old Collin" I said with a cheeky smile
"Yeah right... But did you ask for his number?" Collin asked me
"Nope" I replied shortly and simple and Collin looked at me in disbelief
"Didn't I tell-" Collin was about to scold me but I cut him off
"I have another plan. A better and unique one" I said while raising my eyebrows
"Hm... Fine, depends on you..." He said while fixing his tie
"I know Collin... I know." I said while nodding my head with a smirk on my face
"Let's go back and tell me about YOUR BETTER PLAN." Collin said and walked away and I followed him
At the house
"Now, tell me about your BETTER PLAN" Collin said while looking at me intensely
I sighed
"It goes like this. Earlier, Grayson himself asked for my number, and I told him that if our paths cross again then I'll give him my number which he agreed to. Since Grayson always goes to that cafe, and If I go there tomorrow, obviously we will meet again. I will make him believe that it's destiny. Plus, I don't want him to think that I'm a simp over him." I explained while crossing my legs
