Hilda ran after Mater and eventually caught up to him. "Mater! wait!" cried Hilda. Mater was fuming with hatred and anger. He looked at Hilda with a snarl. "Mater.... This isn't you..." yelled Hilda. Mater frowned and started to tear up. "Mater, Thomas and James are important just like you and I. They might be a little different but that's not okay for you to act like that!" Hilda shouted.
"I'm sorry Hilda... but I've always hated trains... I don't want to hate them but I just do. I'm sorry..." mumbled Mater. "Why don't you go apologize to them? Hilda suggested. "Yeah... I guess you're right... Let's go apologize!"
