On Tatooine

"We have arrived." Zess informed while Rex was opening his eyes. Zess went to sit next to Rex. "Good morning sleepyhead." She said while smiling. Rex got up and noticed that the pain he had was almost gone. "Are we on Tatooine yet?" Rex asked. "Yeah" Zess answered as looking at Rex's abs and blushing a bit. Rex looked down and noticed he still wasn't wearing any shirt. "Latt, you might want to give him his clothes!" Zess shouted while looking away from Rex's abs. Latt came to the room with new clothes on his hand. "Here, you no longer need to wear those black bland under suits." Latt laughed while giving Rex his new clothes. Rex got up. Zess told everyone to leave the room so Rex can have space to change in.

"Those look great on you!" Shurlet said while trying out the fabric on Rex's clothes. Rex smiled and then started at Zess curiously. Zess noticed Rex looking at her and blushed.

"What?" She asked while trying to hide her blush.
"Aren't we supposed to go meet this Jedi ?" Rex answered.
"Oh, yeah, that." She said.
"Well?" Rex asked curiously.
"You're coming with me to find her." She grinned with a little blush coming out of her cheeks again.

Rex blushed on the thought of seeing (N) again. He brushed it off and put a poncho on. Then he and Zess walked out of the ship and waved to the other rebels.

On Mos Eisley

Rex walked with Zess on the streets of Mos Eisley. They didn't exactly know where to look for since all they got from the clone squad, was a bar's name that was supposed to be hidden. Zess side eyed Rex while trying to get words out of her mouth. Rex noticed her looking. "What's wrong?" He asked. Zess stared at Rex while blushing. "So.." She said trying to get words out of her mouth once again. "So...?" Rex repeated. "What's your opinion on me- us!" She said while fixing her words quickly. "The rebels? I think it's brave that you keep fighting against the Empire." Rex said while observing his surroundings. "Well uhm...what about me?" Zess said quietly but quickly. "I think you're a great leader." Rex replied while he stopped walking. Zess blushed. "There." Rex said while grinning.

Inside "Mer Kutzi"

Rex and Zess came inside the bar called "Mer Kutzi". Rex looked around with a worried look. Zess observed his face. Rex walked onto the bar counter. He covered his face with the poncho. Zess followed him. She turned against the counter. "Excuse me." Rex said to the barista. The barista kept shaking drinks without even glaring at Rex. "Yes?" She said. "Do you happen to know anyone called (F/N)?" The barista turned onto Rex with a little shock on her face. "Who's asking?" The barista continued. Rex's face flashed. He regonized this voice. This voice, it's from his close one. "(N)?!?" Rex said shockingly. The barista finally saw Rex's face without the poncho covering it. "Rex?!?" She asked as shockingly as Rex did. Zess turned towards these two with a little curious face.

Your POV

Rex got so happy that he started to hug you immediately. You hugged him back but pushed him away quickly. "To the back." You said. You went to the back as another person followed Rex. "What do you think you're doing?" You said annoyingly to the girl. "I'm with Rex." She said with a little anger on her face. Rex put his arm on your shoulder. "She's a friend of mine. I traveled with her and some rebels to here to meet you." He said calmly. You eased your face and looked at the girl. The girl still did not seem happy.

You closed the back door. You were so happy to see Rex that it made you smile every second you started at him. "So, I guess you've got something to tell me?" You said while looking at Rex's handsome face. He seemed to look the same as always. "Yes actually, we need your help." Rex said. "We're too helpless to defeat the Empire unless we've got a Jedi with us." The girl said with an attitude. "(N) meet Zess." Rex said grining. "I'm (F/N), nice to meet you." You smiled. Zess didn't look so happy seeing you. An akward silence took up the room until Rex broke it. "So (N) will you agree to help them?" Rex said. You looked at Rex shockingly. Them? Does that mean Rex isn't going to be with me? You thought. "Aren't you going to help them too?" You asked with a sad tone. Zess looked at Rex as shockingly as you did. "Wait, you aren't going to help us?" She said. "We'll I think my days are over." Rex said. You saw how Zess face turned from sad to mad. "We'll hold on a minute. I saved you from dying and gave you a place to rest in and now you're just going to ditch us?" She said furiously. You looked over at Rex. "They saved you from death? Woah that must have been a dangerous situation then if Mr. Captain's life was at danger." You joked. Rex chuckled. Zess didn't seem to think it was funny at all. "He was about to die and you think that's funny?" She said with a serious tone. Rex looked over at her and then back to you. "You don't seem to know him at all, do you." She continued. You were holding your laugh as she made herself look like a fool. Rex holded his laugh too. "Actually, Miss Zess. Ive been in over 20 battles with Rex." You said with a proud tone. "So I do think I know him better than you who met him like yesterday or something do." You continued. Zess looked at you offened. Rex smiled. Then turned to look over at Zess. "Zess, If you don't mind I'd like to have a bit alone time with (L/N) over here." Rex said. You smiled. Zess again didn't look good and stood up. "Anything for you mesh'la." She said with a flirty tone. Rex didn't seem to like that tone as he raised his brow.

As soon as Zess left, you hugged Rex thightly. He kissed you on your forehead. "I missed you so much." You said almost starting to cry. "I tought you were dead." He said. "And I tought you were dead too." You said as your eyes started watering. Rex started to pat your back. "It's okay now Cyar'ika." He said calmly. You both hugged and cried together for a while until Zess came in. You both quickly stopped hugging and wiped your tears. Zess looked at you angrily. "So is she willing to do it or not." She said to Rex. Rex turned to look at you. You didn't want to go back to fighting. Not after that  happened. But you also could sense how badly Rex needed you to go with them. You hesitated for a while with Rex staring at you and Zess staring at Rex. "I'll do it." You said. Rex smiled. "But only if Rex wil come with me." You continued. Zess looked furiously at you but her face softened when she looked at Rex. "I don't know (N)..." He said. "I don't quite trust them.." He continued. "Rex, you're a soldier. What the Empire is doing is wrong, you and I both know it. Innocents are dying out there and we will have to continue fighting for them, even if it means fighting alongside those who we might not quite yet trust." You motivated Rex as he looked at your face. "Besides I'll be fighting right next to you." You said playfully. Rex chuckled. Zess then again did not look happy. As usually. "Fine I'll do it." He grinned. "But not just because I want to be next to you. But for the republic too." He said playfully. You chuckled. "Can we just go already?" Zess yelled. You and Rex both looked at her. Zess then went next to Rex and hugged his arm. "I'm sorry for yelling at you Rex." She said with puppy eyes. Rex looked away trying to shrug her off. "Yeah it's alright, you're right let's go." He said. You went next to a crate and opened it. You took my lightsaber and blew the dust of it. You examined it as it brought back memories. You have spent almost all your life as a jedi. Then just like that everything was gone. The troopers you had fought alongside with for 3 long years had turned their backs against you. Not just to you but for every Jedi. The sad thing about betrayal, is that it never comes from your enemies. You took the lightsaber and catched up with Rex and Zess.
