It was sugary sweet, from top to bottom, utterly delightful. You couldn't help but swoon at the way it just melted in your mouth. Chocolate was clearly the best thing ever! You savored the creamy, sugary taste of each piece as you slid it onto your tongue between your parted lips, giddy in anticipation.

Your eyes trailed over to the man sitting in front of you and met his gaze; his lips curled upward into a small smile, and a soft hum followed. His gaze seemed fixed on your lips as you continued eating your chocolate.

"Are you enjoying it?" He asked softly, to which you nodded and took in another piece with a nod, a beaming smile plastered over your face. The cool breeze of the wind blew through your hair, and the scenery was perfect; you could only wish to stay in this moment forever with him. It felt straight out of a typical Shoujo manga.

It seemed everything had gone back to normal between you two, minus the dead sister. You'd been there to comfort him in his time of need, and for that, he was incredibly grateful. You happily accepted being fed by him, his gloved hand brushing over your lips as you took in the chocolate, bringing light dusts of pink to his face. Your smile beamed back at him; this moment was forever held as a keepsake in your collage of memories.

"Phew, I'm stuffed. Wanna go somewhere else?" You offered while the two of you packed up your picnic, still admiring the beautiful weather. He hummed in response.

"I'll go anywhere with you." It seemed as if you two grew closer every day. Relationship status? Friends with benefits, you thought, but you're hoping he'll go further.

"Ahem, funny. But anything in mind?" You looked away in annoyance, swooning on the inside.

"I'm serious. Where do you want to head next?" He chuckled, tucking stray hair behind his ear.

     "Let's grab a bite."

You two carried your things, walking happily on the sidewalk. Your hands brushed past each other's, making you blush, but you didn't dare grab his or even look at him. Unbeknownst to you, his stare only lingered.

-

"Ah, beautiful!" You gasped, swooning over the late-evening sky. The sun was about to set. Abstract blues, reds, and oranges slapped together quite nicely, blended to perfection. The sun let out a warm, orange glow over the sky and cast dim light over the scenery below.

"Beautiful, just like you... That was bad, I know." He said this before giving a slight giggle at the cliché line. You gave him an interesting look before ignoring his antics and instead focusing on the evening sun, which had now turned sunset. The night was rapidly approaching.

He leaned on the wooden railing, matching you, and watched the amazement in your eyes with such interest. He couldn't understand how you put so much focus on the beauty of the sky when he had something much more beautiful in front of him—utterly stunning.

"You look at the sky a lot, like, always. Especially at night, are you into astronomy perhaps?" He hummed, watching you glance back at him, forming a response.

"Kind of, the stars have always captivated the eyes of onlookers, and I'm no different. It's interesting how glowing balls of heat up so many lightyears away can be so beautiful," you offered a small smile.

"Ah! Look, it's a shooting star, you see that??" You gasped, excitedly pointing and turning back to make sure he saw. A glowing ball of white dashed across the sky excitedly.

He couldn't help but blush at your childish behavior, finding this enthusiasm for the stars all the more cute. When he was with you, worries and past trauma seemed to fade away. You were his light at the end of the tunnel.

"That's right. Quick, make a wish!" He ushered, and you gasped quietly.

"Make one with me!" You grabbed a hold of his hands, clasping them between you as you closed your eyes and made your wish. I hope I get rich and earn lots of mora~!

"Okay, okay!" He said, making a silent wish I want to be with you forever. His cheeks grew warmer, finally opening his eyes. He then watched you with interest, he found your captivation with the stars quite fun. The complete 180 in personality you showed now compared to when you first met brings a smile to his face.

"Ah, it's late already! We'd better head back to the city." He nodded in agreement before you began your journey back to the city.
