Adaria's POV
It had been a few days since Rebekah had came back to the land of the living and it's fair to say I've kept a distance
She still doesn't know who I am and Klaus hasn't said anything about it, not to mention the fact he's barely even acknowledged me since she's been here
She's currently giving the boys a fashion show, but I can hardly pay attention long enough to hear what they are talking about, that is until Stefan gets up to leave and I turn to see where he is going

That's when I saw my mother on the other side of the street, waiting for him

"Where are you going?" my father shouted across to me "Just to keep an eye on him, make sure he doesn't get into any trouble" I say whilst leaving the store and heading across the street to where the two of them were stood bickering

"You've been running from him for all these years, why on earth have you followed us here? You're finally free" I said whilst crossing my arms in front of me
"You may not think I care about you, but I do" she said with a sigh "He took you, I had to make sure he hadn't hurt you" "When did you start caring? I've always been a burden to you, mother. Well you haven't even spent any of the last 500 years with me, you don't even know me" I semi shouted at her, trying not to let the hybrid and original vampire hear us

"You are my daughter and I love you so I will not stand for any more of these questions. Do you understand me, Adaria?" she said whilst glaring at me "Yes ma'am" I said whilst Stefan chuckled

"Anyway I think this conversation is over" Stefan said whilst grabbing my wrist "Goodbye, Katherine"

"Hey, hey. Wait. You're up to something, tell me" she said frantically
"They don't know where the necklace is. I just have to keep them from figuring it out. I have it all under control" he said whilst glancing at me "Wait you know where the necklace is?" I said, confusedly looking between the two

"Please, tell me you have a better plan than that" she said ignoring my question "You do. Come on, Stefan. You're not the diabolical type. Whatever you're planning, it's not going to work" she said smugly
"Well, if the most diabolical woman I know can't seem to figure it out, then I must be doing something right" he grinned

"Hello, what am I missing here?" I said annoyed
"The necklace I gave to Elena" he said looking at me and I just stood in shock
"Uh-huh. I forgot. You're bad now. Don't get too cocky. Klaus is smarter than you. He's smarter than everyone. And I've heard about that sister. Be careful. She'll ruin you" she said
"Happy to know you still care" Stefan walked away, with me trailing behind

Gloria's Bar
"You left us" Rebekah said aimed at Stefan, as the two of us walked in
"Yeah, sorry. Retail therapy was making my head explode" he said "What he said" I chuckled as she shot daggers in my direction
"Tell me about it" Klaus smiled

"What's she doing?" Stefan said nervously
"She's failing to find the necklace" Klaus said as he slammed his drink down
"It's hard to find something when you don't have anything to go on" Gloria sneered "Also I'm not strong enough for this kind of spell, I need to channel someone at least" Gloria said whilst Klaus to me

"Yeah not gunna happen. I don't let random people channel me" I said with a smile whilst Klaus' jaw tightened "I will however be happy to do the spell myself" I said sweetly looking between them all

"You're a witch? What happened to you being a vampire yesterday?" She said she with a laugh
"I'll leave that explanation to you" I said as me and Klaus glared at each other, Rebekah ignoring us

Although I already knew exactly where the necklace was, I thought it would've probably been best if Gloria didn't find out for herself but I still had to keep up appearances so I sat there and completed the spell

"I found it" I said whilst looking up to Rebekah
"So where is it?" she hissed
"It doesn't work like that, darling. I get images. There's a girl with her friends..."
"Yes, a dead girl with dead friends, if I don't get my necklace back" Rebekah growled whilst raising her voice

"There's something blocking my spell" I say glancing around the room "The girl must have a witch because there's no way to break through" I say to Klaus, trying to stall
"And before you get mad, I'm sure there's another way to contact your mother" I say as he walks out of the bar

"Klaus!" I yell as I follow behind him "I tried, I promise I did. There's no way to get through a spell like that." still following behind him as he stops and turns to me "I know, Adaria. I would've had you do the spell in the first place, seeing as you're the most powerful witch in the world" he growled "I presumed you didn't want my sister knowing who you were" he continued whilst keeping his eyes down on his feet

"Why would you think that?" I question as I met him and placed a hand on his arm
"Wouldn't want me to know what?" I hear from behind me, to see Stefan stood beside Rebekah

After telling her the whole story she just stood there at a loss for words, within a second she completely switched up and was running towards me. To my surprise she engulfed me in a tight hug
"I've always wanted a niece" she said with a smile plastered on her face as she pulled back

After we separated Stefan and Rebekah left to the warehouse as you and Klaus returned to your hotel to gather your belongings.

As we entered the warehouse, something felt completely off and Klaus sensed it as well
"What's going on?" he said looking between Stefan and Rebekah
"Something's wrong. He was asking about Mikael. He's not with us, Nik. I can sense it." she said
"She's wrong. He wouldn't betrayed us" I say trying to save Stefan's ass, but it's too late and Klaus has already snapped his neck
