someone count the amount of times I said "pretty" in this chapter.

Auradon.
Auradon.
Auradon.
Auradon.

I never thought Auradon would be our saving grace.

Auradon.

We can get out.

Auradon.

Thank fuck for Auradon.

Hogwarts Prep?

"Remus?"

Oh.
Shit.
My dad.
Ffyc.
Forgot about that.

"Yes, nhad?"
"You need to pack, you'll be to leave soon."

I nodded, absentmindedly moving to pack a bag.
I have to leave him.

My dad.

I can't.

Sirius.
Dad.
Sirius.
Dad.
Sirius.
Dad.

Sirius.
Sirius.

Sirius.

I'm gonna leave my dad.
For Sirius.
Ouch.

"Goodbye, Nhad."
"Make me proud, plentyn."

I won't.

"I will."

I left.
I looked back.

Across the street, Sirius left.
He didn't look back.
Until he did.

Regulus' tear streaked face stood solemn from behind the shattered window.
He disappeared from sight.
He didn't look back.
He didn't.

Sirius did.
Regulus didn't see that.

He had to leave.
"I can't leave,"

"You have to, Siri."
"No, I can't leave him."
"You need to."

He looked up at me sadly,
"No, I need to do what she says, Moony. We need to steal the wand,"

What?

"We need to for Regulus."
"For Regulus?"
"For Regulus."
"Okay, we'll steal the wand for Regulus."

His shoulders deflated, an immense weight had clearly been lifted.
"Okay," He smiled.

He leaned up to kiss my lips softly, leaving a ghost on himself.

"Let's go find Marls and Panda."
He looked so determined to make this work. So pretty.

prettyprettypretty

Let's go.

Fortunately, the girls in question were already walking towards us, the same determination clear in their demeanor.
"We need to take that wand."

Sirius grinned.
"Glad we're all on the same page."
His cheeks were flushed, eyes bright, despite the clear signs of past tears, pretty.

pretty boy.

Panda turned to face the border before we could even see the car coming, but then we did.

It was a black limo. At least 15 feet long, I had to suppress a gasp as it rolled through the barrier, looking very out of place in the dreary environment.

Marlene's expression mirrored mine, jaw detached, eyes wide, but Pandora and Sirius seemed completely used to the extravagance.

Sirius turned to smirk at me,
"I guess this is our ride, huh?"
"Guess so,"
So pretty.

"What are ya' waitin' for? Get the 'ell in!"
wow.
I guess not all Auridanians are prissy and perfect like they make it seem.

"All right, we're getting in, weirdo!"
Marls yelled, climbing into the backseat.

Sirius threw his head back, barking out sharp laughter.
I could fall asleep to that.

He grabbed my hand, squeezing it tight, and pulled me into the car with him.
"So luxurious," he said, jokingly.
"Mhm,"

He swung his legs over mine, leaning back onto Marlene's shoulder.

"Watch it, Black," she said, doing nothing to move him.

"I am," he replied, "it's a vision."
He was staring right at me, so pretty.

prettyprettyprettyboy

I shoved his head to the side gently, his grey eyes twinkled.

prettyprettypretty.

"What is this?"
I was broken out of my Sirius-brought trance by Pandora's quizzical tone.

She was gesturing to the jars of .. something that lined the walls.

"Candy," Sirius informed, "it's a treat, supposed to taste good."

How did he know that?

"My mother is obsessed with Auradon, so she defined everything they have that we don't. There's something called WiFi, too."

"Mm!" Marlene cut off his explanation with an overly obscene sound.

"Oh my God. This is-" She shoved more in her mouth, talking through it, "Oh my God."

I grabbed some of my own, "Oh"
Sirius looked at me, "Caraid, try some; like actually."

He plucked one from my hand and popped it in his mouth, his eyes widened and eyebrows raised. He snatched the rest, I let him, and put them in the zipped pocket of his old, worn, leather jacket.

pretty.

"Y'all! There's booze."
Marlene's voice rang out.

Sirius perked up, like a dog,
"Oh hell yeah. Let's get so fucking sloshed,"

I nodded almost frantically,
"Hell knows we need it before we get to the prep school."
I said 'prep school' as if it had murdered my mom.

Well, that was Auradon. So, in a way it did, I guess.

Pandora opted to stay sober, as she doesn't like the feeling of alcohol, claiming she'd rather 'get drunk on life.'

Sirius, however, passed a bottle of beer to me and with the lack of food in his stomach, was able to get drunk very quickly.

Marlene just laughed at him, hazy, but not as drunk as the dark haired boy.

He was leaning on me, rambling about my eyes, mouth, height, just.. me.

So pretty.
