CLAIRE WAS IN DESPITE need of a break from Audrey and Chad. She had to spend a few hours with them by now and all they could talk about was how annoying the V.Ks are.
And Claire hadn't even made a comment on Audrey negative attitude towards them yet, like Ben a begged her to. To get Audrey to at least be civil with the children of the lost Island. Imagine the lecture she'd get from Audrey if she brought that up right now.
Claire was not risking that.
She could come up with better plans for her day than getting an earful from Audrey.So she settled on talking to Audrey about it later.
In the mean time, Claire decided to go for a walk to clear her head and to come up with what she'd say later.
And of course what better company than the cutest Brussels Griffin pup in all of Auradon; Dude.
Usually she'd just talk to pascal about her problems regarding her friends. When she first came to Auradon , Claire's mother, Rapunzel made her daughter take pascal with her so he could watch over her. Being the trusted chameleon that he was. But this week he was back in Corona. After all Rapunzel could never go long without her small friend.
At the moment Claire and her furry trusted animal were walking along the same path her and Ben had gone down earlier that day. Towards the field.
The memory had Claire twirling the ring that now decorated her thumb.
"I just don't know what to say without her getting mad at me," Claire ranted. "I hate when people are mad at me. Especially Audrey."
The more she went on the closer they got to the field. As they did Claire got a clearer view of her boyfriend training Carlos.
"Uh, I just don't know what to do," Claire groaned tilting her head up to the sky. Unknown to her, she didn't realize she just gave Dude the perfect opportunity to cause some chaos by looking away.
She only noticed when she heard Dude's barks mixed with Carlos's screams.
Dude was chasing after Carlos across the large field as he tried his best to run away.
"Dude! Come back," Claire called out for the dog as she started to run after them. But he didn't seem to listen to her calls, continuing to run after a screeching Carlos.
