Third Person Pov.

Wendy had been busy rehearsing for a song she'll sing in the upcoming event of the school so when she saw that it was already a bit late she quickly bid her goodbye with her classmates and run off

She had almost forgot about the meet up with Jungkook after class so she almost flew to the rendezvous

Once she was a bit close to the place she quickly compose herself

She didn't Jungkook to see her in a very messy state right so she went to a near coffee shop first walk towards the restroom to at least fix herself up

Seulgi and Joohyun just finished talking to the other officers as they brought back to things they bought for the upcoming event

Joohyun already told them to make sure everyone would clear their schedule after class tomorrow so that they could already decorate the stage

And everyone agreed even Seulgi volunteered to help

"At this point I might even think you'll consider yourself running for a position the next school year" Joohyun laughed

To her Seulgi had never been someone who would go for politics but with all her actions for the past few days people might really assume she had her plans

"Why not I could run as your vice" Seulgi shrugged

Sometimes Joohyun wasn't sure if she was joking or was that really something she's considering but knowing Seulgi for so long, she's joking but then they haven't really talk to each other for so long that she wasn't sure if Seulgi was still the same girl as she knew before

"You alright you suddenly became quiet?" Seulgi asked as they walked out of school and through their neighborhood

"Yeah I'm just... happy you're here with me" Joohyun stares at Seulgi's eyes "me too"

They both were walking when they came across a corn dog stand in front of the park's exit

Seulgi run towards it

"Didn't we eat at the mall awhile ago?" Joohyun ask

"We did but this looks good" Seulgi smiled looking at how the vendor was cooking the food

"Two please" she happily requested "my treat" she added as she smiled at Joohyun from ear to ear

Af course Joohyun couldn't resist her perseverance even when Seulgi dragged her inside the park because she wanted them to get some fresh air

Joohyun could just only nod and follow her in

Wendy had already reach the park, she was late but then she look better than she was a few minutes ago

She walk with confidence a smile plastered through her face everyone she walked passed look at her with awe

Wendy's beauty was something no one can deny after all she was a full package, Beautiful, Smart, kind and even wealthy

She just hopes whatever Jungkook wanted to tell her was something that agrees to what's on her mind right now

Her thoughts were cut off when a certain someone called her name "Wendy"

Jungkook gave her a cute smile as he waved his hand at her while the other was behind him

She gave the same energy as she walked towards him

"Hey" Wendy muttered once she was Infront of him

"Hi" his other hand from behind showed up and showed her a bouquet of pink tulips her favorite

"For you" Wendy gladly accept it and smelled the beautiful scent of the flower "thank you"

"Would you like to walk with me towards the pond there" Jungkook pointed at the center of the park where the pond was

Wendy nodded

She couldn't help but feel excited and happy as the thoughts she have been thinking since he asked her out was happening

But then as they walked happily she couldn't help but feel a bit sad

She wasn't sure why

She has been dreading for this day to come ever since they met

Jungkook was the man of her dreams she knows this but for some reason something was odd and she wasn't sure what

She tried to shake the feeling off since this was an important day for her today was the day he'll officially ask her out and she should feel pure happiness about it as the pond was getting nearer the more she felt excited and maybe....nervous that's it

She saw a simple white blanket on the grass with some rose petals along with an antique lantern beside a picnic basket

It was simple but romantic even if she was born with golden spoon on her mouth she was always the type who would enjoy simplest thing in life and not the luxury

She smiled at him as he face her

"Son Seungwan ever since we met I had really like you and I've enjoy those times we've share together so..."
He breathe in first then look at her brown eyes

"Wendy would you want to be my girlfriend?" And there was the question

But for some reason

Wendy wasn't as excited as she thought she would

She thought of so many scenarios on her head ever since she realized she love him until the moment they were talking towards the pond

But now..

She wasn't sure what to feel

Was she having second thoughts?

How? Why? After all this time

She was so sure it was him so why?

Meanwhile Seulgi could feel a tear had fell on her cheek then another then another

She wasn't sure if it was raining

Was she crying ohh

She had always heard Wendy bragged being in a relationship or even tell the story how she said yes

But never witness it not even once

She already knew this was bound to happen but she still felt the pang on her chest afcourse if only she knew she should have listened to what Joohyun said

Not to go to the park

But she did

And now she had to witness this

Hear Wendy's obvious answer came out of her mouth

"Seul?" Joohyun's hand landed on her back giving her a sympathetic look "hey" she called out again

"I...I can't Joohyun-ah sorry" Seulgi run away from the direction they came from a while ago not bothering to wait for Joohyun or hear Wendy's answer

She had to get out of that place

Because if she doesn't

She might end up drowning herself by the pond

"How can you not see me Wendy?"
