"Way to go,Rish.You've got Bs",she shouted for the whole library to hear
"Shhh moonbeam!!!.I don't want the whole college to know I am a dumbass",I alerted
"It's a good improvement.And what's my reward for tutoring the most lazy and annoying human to ever exist",she teased
"Let the lazy, annoying human take you out?",I suggested, staring deep into her eyes
Why won't she just say yes??How long should I wait for me to be called hers?
"That's not what I'm looking for.",she replied firmly
"I—",I was getting ready to debate when a girl interrupted our privacy
"Rishi!! You're impossible to run into",the girl wrapped her hands around me
"Umm...you are?",I was drowning in confusion
"You're so silly.Ring me up when you are free.We can hang out like we did that night",she said seductively as she walked away
Damn it....What you do really comes after you
My girl looked at me,her hands folded against her chest with a sly grin
"That was at the freshers party.....past is in the past,right?",I gave an awkward smile
"I guess, I'm no different.You'll get through your so called feelings,Rish",she replied playfully
This isn't true.It hurt me that she thought of me like that
"No,moonbeam......I understand,I have an image of being a prankster and no one takes me seriously but—"
"—I spent this 8 months crazy about you to the extent of wondering what's really wrong with me that you don't find my feelings genuine"
"I know you do,Rishi.But I don't",she smiled
"And you don't have to convince me.People will love people as long as it's convenient for them"
"Ask them to walk that extra mile for the person they claim to love.It would be an issue."
"That's my perception",she concluded,plugging in her earphones
Breaking her perception of love was a harder task.
But damn...... I'm obsessed with the way she challenges me right from day one.
We wouldn't be us without this
I noticed the song she was listening to, remembering she mentioned that it was her favourite song
"Fine.... I'll break your line of disappointment.I'll be the one to change your perception",I challenged, placing my hand on here
She looked at me with a questioning gaze.I know she feels something but doubt clouds her.
Our little fights,stolen glances,her glares,my love—These should never cease to exist
My every hopeless attempt at flirting and the secretive princess treatment,it all belonged only to her
"See you tomorrow at cultural....And yeah...you can definitely kiss me after the show",I grinned, turning to take a glance at her
"Don't do anything stupid,Rishi!!",she yelled as I went off to get the stage set
