It all started thirteen years ago, when my mother got pregnant from her so-called love of her life. They never intended to have kids before marriage, so basically, I was an "accident". Before my mother told my father about me, my father confessed something to my mother that made her hysterical.
He was only with her because of a stupid bet. He never loved her, while she devoted her life to him. She then thought of a plan to get revenge on him. That revenge was me. Nine months later she left me on his doorstep, waiting to get rid of me; the product of a bet and a lie. He answered the door, only to find me looking at him with my tiny body and big hazel gray eyes.
Till this day I've always wondered why he had taken me in; why he just didn't give me up for adoption.
He never really cared about me; we hardly had any interactions; we rarely spoke. He never was really there. He was always at the hospital working as a surgeon in his countless surgeries; so basically it was as if I never really existed. So welcome to my world, I am Chloe.
