red sea (painting) by saroja la colorista (portugal)
___
yellow-orange tender hues,
sunflower honey, and the sun in you.
august sun, come caress my soul;
the waters are calm here, and i won't reach home soon.yellow-orange violent tinges and tones,
raging flames of the sun in you,
burning my sight with your view;
the sea is only salt now, I still won't reach home soon.yellow-orange paint strokes on my canvas,
yet your portrait remains unfulfilled.
your eyes now dance in red,
fiery warmth bidding farewell to spring.the canvas makes it to the exhibition,
'Oh, Hail, Midsummer, Hail,' they say.
my sea is only blood now,
yellow-orange drifts to red; i drown, i stay.
