Chapter 27 : Summer Camp

The class got their things and got them situated in their rooms and went out to see a dazzling dinner prepared by Tiger and Ragdoll. After the dinner, they were told that there was a hot spring separated by gender. The guys sat in the water talking mainly about how Bakugou and Todoroki were slower than the whole group. They, mainly Bakugou explained that they were slowed down by a bunch of mud monsters that kept coming. Mineta's ear was on the dividing wall.

"Heaven is so close. Just behind this wall lies paradise."

"Mineta it is unbecoming for a hero to do such acts!"

"But don't you dream of seeing the other side? Well, you can keep dreaming 'cause I will not let my dreams be dreams!"

Mineta began sticking his quirk onto the wall and climbing up the wall. Midoriya seeing that Kota was up there wasn't as worried as Iida who was frantically reprimanding and steeling him to come down. As Mineta was about to get to the top a wooden mallet hammered him in the head causing him to fall. He was caught by Midoriya using his tendrils so he didn't need to get out of the water. Kota then turned around as the girls thanked him. He faints from the sight and falls onto the the girl's side but before he can get too far a tendril catches him and pulls him back to the boy's side. Midoriya gets out of the water to check up on Kota.

"I'm going to get him to Mandalay."

Midoriya leaves and finds Mandalay in the hallway.

"Midoriya? What happened?"

"Mineta tried to climb the dividing wall and Kota stopped him but Kota then looked over at the girl's side passed out and fell off the wall."

Mandalay takes Kota and brings him to his room. Midoriya waits outside until she comes out.

"I'm sorry if I sound insensitive but why doesn't Kota like heroes?"

"... Do you know of the Water Hose duo?"

Midoriya's eyes widened.

"Yeah... It does make sense his anger, being told that the death of his parents was noble and it is what they should have done."

"That should have never happened. When Kota was left to me I didn't know how to raise a kid but no matter what I do he hasn't been willing to change his mind. sigh Thank you Midoriya for helping him."

"No problem. After all, that's what everyone would do."

Midoriya went to the shared boy's room where the rest of the boys had just gotten back.

"Hey Midoriya, how was Kota?"

"He's fine just saw too much on the girl's side."

"That lucky brat."

"Mineta."

The boys turn to see Aizawa in the doorway.

"You will be having private classes with Tiger during the extra classes the others will have. Have a good night tomorrow will be a day to remember."

They decide to pack in for the night and go to bed early as they don't want to face whatever punishment is in store if they are to be late. In the middle of the night, Midoriya was woken up by the balcony door sliding. He cracks his eyes slightly and sees Aoyama going out of sight. Midoriya gets up quietly creeps close to the door and sees him on the phone.

"Yeah, we're in the mountains of the beast's forest in Nagano training with the pussycats... Yeah, class 1-a and 1-b are here... Only our homeroom teachers... Yeah, I'm having a great time here... Oh okay then bye Mom..."

"Aoyama is leaking information to All for One."

"Hey, Aoyama was that your parents?"

"Y-yeah they just wanted to know how I was. Did I wake you up? Sorry about that."

"It's weird hearing you talk without the French accent."

Aoyama's eyes widened and he looked down. Midoriya places his hand on Aoyama's shoulder.

'... No adaptations. He should have one considering his drawbacks... Or not because he does have them.'

"Hey don't worry about it, man. You wanted a fresh start, right? I won't tell anyone. Let's get back to sleep."

"Than- merci Midoriya."

"Sleep."

Aoyama falls asleep in Midoriya's arms. He takes him back inside puts him to bed and walks back outside careful not to wake anyone.

"Aoyama was given Navel Lazer by All for One."

"Aoyama is aware he is feeding information to villains."

"?... Aoyama is suspicious that he is giving Intel to villains.

"Aoyama feels guilty for leading the class into danger."

With the information, it seems that Aoyama is an unwilling participant in All for One's plans.

'I should call Nezu.'

Midoriya wakes up bright and early and goes for a nice light jog around the facility. When he got back Aizawa had just gotten up and was drinking a coffee. He looked at Midoriya with an impressed look.

"Morning sensei."

"Morning Midoriya. Did you go for a run?"

"Yeah, it helps me think. Is anyone else up?"

"Your classmates are still asleep. Don't wake them up."

Aizawa continues down the hallway. Around half an hour before the meeting time people started to wake up and do their morning routine. They found Midoriya sitting on the sofa in the lounge looking at something on his phone. He was already in the school gym uniform ready for today's training. The time had come and class 1-a meet in a clearing outside the facility.

"Now that everyone is here. While you all have trained your stamina and strategic thinking this camp is to increase the output or improve your move set."

Aizawa tosses Bakugou a baseball

"Throw that ball."

Bakugou runs in place works up a sweat and throws the baseball as he did during the first day.

"1.104 kilometers."

The class was shocked by the result
They had been training for months now but to see so little improvement was a little disheartening.

"Quirks need to be pushed to the limit to improve. Let's get to it."
