After being redesigned by Davis, Molten has three wires with eyeballs that constantly watch and stare at him, constantly looking like they're judging Molten's actions.
Molten has tried ripping them off numerous times, since Davis revealed to him at one point that he can spy on Molten through the cameras in these eyes, but the eyes always move away from his grip.
Davis stopped doing spying on them since he left, but even then, Afton connected to them when he took Molten so he can watch Molten while he's stuck in the tube.
It was only recently that he was finally able to Ballora to disconnect them and finally rip them off.
