Chapter 9

"What was that?" Medyo galit ang boses ni Mommy. 

And I'm just sitting in th sofa quietly. Kasi parang biglang huminto sakin ang lahat nong tangkain ni Peeta na halikan ako — But why? I thought we are friends. "Hindi ko po alam Mommy."

"You don't know?" Mommy can't believe my answer. "He almost kiss you —"

"But I didn't want too Mommy, nabigla ako." Now I composed myself. "I froze, felt terrified and i couldn't react." 

Napahawak nalang sa noo si Mommy. "You don't like him?"

"Like? No." Para pa akong nandiri. I mean he's like a brother to me. "We are friends —" 

"Friends don't kiss." It's Mama Mara. 

"I.. I don't kiss him, he tried but I don't." I defended myself. 

"He likes her." Sabi ni Mama kay Mommy. 

" He is." Natawa na may kasamang inis na pagsang-ayon ni Mommy. "I heard him said that." At binalik nya ang atensyon sakin. "Go to your room Clover." 

And I don't protest. 

I know my mother's will talk about Peeta and I. Because i know the look they gave on each other. 

What did Peeta to me haunts me even in my sleep. It still creeps me out  No offense, Peeta is handsome and all the girls can ask for. But we are friends — kapag kaibigan, kaibigan lang. 

Halos hindi din naman ako nakatulog kaya nag-ayos na ako ng mga gamit. Nagulat nalang ako kasi may mga snack ako sa paper bag. 

My heart melts - Kahit strict ang parents ko sakin ay alam ko na mahal na mahal nila ako. That's why I'm thankful - very thankful that I have two amazing mothers. 

Sa kanila ko talaga naramdaman na kahit kailan ay hindi magiging mali magmahal ng kapwa mo babae o kapwa mo lalaki.  As long as masaya kayo at walang tinatapakang tao — then go. 

We only find an incredible woman once in our lifetime,so don't take them for granted. 

Right?

4 in the morning ako susunduin ni Olivia, and it's 3. So i take a shower, wear a comfortable v-neck shirt and sweat pants. I also make sure na full charge lahat ng gadgets ko, like phone, tablet, airpods and power bank. 

Bukas lahat ng ilaw sa living room pagkababa ko and see my mothers. Yes, gising na gising pa sila while watching something on TV and drinking wine. 

"Good morning mommys." Pagbati ko sa kanilang dalawa as i give them kisses on the cheek. "Stay up all night?" 

Natawa si Mama Mara, mamula mula na ang pisngi nya, lasing na. "We are just finishing this TV series."

I look at the TV. "Maria Clara at Ibarra." 

"Just.." Huminga si Mama ng malamig. "I remember everything."

Umupo ako sa tabi ni Mama. "Remember the?" 

"Nong panahon na — "

"Love." Pagpigil ni Mommy kay Mara. "Go to sleep, ako na bahala kay Clover. We will wait for Olivia — "

"And her minions." Lasing na sabi ni Mama. "I'm going to say this now - but that girl Olivia have a resemblance with Sofia." 

Kumunot ang noo ko. "Sofia? The girl from your story?" 

"Yes." Ngumiti si Mama. 

"Mara." May pagpigil sa boses ni Mommy. "Go to sleep."

At imbis sumagot ay tumayo nalang si Mama. "I'll go to sleep." Nag-inat inat muna sya bago ako i goodnight kiss sa noo. "Enjoy later okay Anak? But be careful."
