Bijou's Ribbons

It was a new day at the hamster clubhouse, and the hamsters, including the Toon kids in hamster form disguises, had baskets. Boss: "Alright everyone, this is the time of years when the best berries in the woods nearby grow, let's pick some of them so we could have enough to make some dishes with them." Tommy: "You make dishes?" Boss: "Well... not really, I just kinda thought one of you guys could do that as ya used to be humans, right?" Jokeo: "Well I have cooked some pies before." Jokey: "Yeah, and my bro makes the best pies." Melody: "Hey... where's Miss Bijou?" Gidget: "Huh?, she's not here?" asked Gidget, before the girls see Bijou coming to the scene, but with one of her ribbons that make pigtails on the sides of her head were missing. Bijou: "Excuse moi, but have you seen one of my ribbons?, I can't find them anywhere." Melody: "Oh dear..." Tommy: "Where did you last saw it?" Bijou: "I put it on the table, but now it's gone." Gidget: "Maybe Hamtaro might know." Bijou: "Where is he?" Tommy: "Over there." said Tommy, pointing at the white and orange hamster, who was playing with what looked like a blue ribbon, which was in fact Bijou's missing ribbon. Bijou: "Hey!, what are you doing with my ribbon?!" Hamtaro: "Huh?, oh this is yours?, I found it on the table." Bijou: "I put it there so I could clean up my fur a little bit, why did you take it?!" Hamtaro: "Sorry... I didn't realized it was yours..." Bijou: "Didn't realized?!, are you saying my ribbons aren't special?!" Hamtaro: "No!, I didn't mean it like that!" Boss: "Hey calm down you two, let's not make a scene please." said Boss, trying to stop the two hamsters from making a scene, before Bijou walks away with a cross look on her face, making Hamtaro feel sad and guilty about upsetting his friend. Sometime later, the hamsters were in the woods, looking for some berries to pick from some bushes and put them in their baskets. Hamtaro tried to talk to Bijou, but she simply just ignored him, making him feel even more sad and guilty. Gidget and Melody went over to Bijou, trying to talk some sense into her. Gidget: "Bijou... don't you think you're taking the ribbon thing a little too personal?" Melody: "Yeah, he didn't mean to take your ribbon." Bijou: "It's not about taking the ribbon... it's about him thinking that it wasn't special... this ribbon... along with the other one... were the last gifts I got from my original owner... before the accident... they're all I got left of her..." said Bijou sadly, which made Gidget and Melody understand a little better about why the ribbons mean so much to the white hamster and tried to comfort her. Unaware to the girls, Hamtaro heard everything and now felt more guilty than ever and walked away in shame. It wasn't long before Tommy noticed that Hamtaro was nowhere in sight, and this made him worried. Tommy: "Hey guys... where's Hamtaro?" Boss: "Wasn't he with you?" Tommy: "No... he's not with you?" Boss: "No... hey guys, have you seen him?" Jokey and Jokeo: "Nope, haven't seen him." Melody: "I didn't see him either." Bijou: "He's not with us?" Gidget: "Oh no... you don't think he got lost, do ya?" Tommy: "I sure hope not... he could get in a lot of trouble... like wolves or something..." Melody: "Or worse... the Demon trio..." Tommy: "Oh my gosh!, we gotta find him!, fast!" Boss: "Then let's go find him!, come on!" called out Boss, before he and the others begin searching for their friend. Specking of which, Hamtaro was walking through the woods, searching for a way home, only to see now that he was lost, and started to get scared. Suddenly, some footsteps were heard, which made Hamtaro very nervous. Hamtaro: "Hello... is that you Boss?" asked Hamtaro, before ScreamClaw, ThunderSmacker and SpaceWarp came out of the bushes, which made Hamtaro gasped in shock and fright. ScreamClaw: "Nope... it's just us... your worst nightmare..." Hamtaro: "I thought you were the Demon trio." ThunderSmacker: "We are the Demon trio!, and you are gonna help us find and capture those kids who owe us their souls!" SpaceWarp: "Y-y-yeah... what he said..." said the two other members of the Demon trio, before they and ScreamClaw came closer to Hamtaro, who tips on a rock and rolls down a hill that lead him crashing into a tree, which was really old and weak, so weak that the collision with the hamster caused it to fall down lands on the hamster. ScreamClaw: "Ooh... what a way to go..." ThunderSmacker: "Nuts... now what?" ScreamClaw: "We'll just have to find the other hamsters, if that one was here, the others can't be far away." SpaceWarp: "B-b-but where?" ScreamClaw: "Somewhere in this forest, now come on!" ordered ScreamClaw, before he and the other demons left the scene. Some time later, the hamsters were still looking for Hamtaro, when Bijou caught Hamtaro's scent and followed it to the old knocked down tree. Bijou: "Hamtaro's scent ends here... but where is he?" asked Bijou, before Gidget uses her psychic powers to find Hamtaro, who was under the tree, which made her gasp and used her power to lift the tree out of the way, which shows Hamtaro, who was badly hurt, but still alive. All: "Hamtaro!" cried out everyone, before Bijou runs over to him first. Bijou: "Oh my gosh!, Hamtaro, what happened?!" Hamtaro: "Ow... the Demon trio... they were here... I tripped and crashed into that tree... which landed on me..." Bijou: "Oh you poor boy... why did you wandered off like that?" Hamtaro: "Because you didn't wanted me around... you hated me... I overheard about where you got your ribbons... I'm so sorry... guys... take care of Laura for me..." Bijou: "No!, don't talk like that!, please!, stay with us!, stay with me!, I'm begging you!" Melody: "Hang on Hamtaro!" cried out Melody, before she places her paws on the male hamster, which started to glow a little for a moment before the light faded, and Hamtaro was all better. Hamtaro: "Hey... I feel a lot better... but how?" Melody: "While Gidget has psychic powers, I have powers of my own, healing myself and others." Bijou: "Wow... that's amazing... and you saved Hamtaro... merci beaucoup!, which is French for 'Thank you so much', by the way." Melody: "You're very welcome." said Melody, before she and the others noticed that Hamtaro still looked pretty sad. Bijou: "Hamtaro?... what's wrong?" Hamtaro: "Oh Bijou... I'm really sorry about taking your ribbon... and if I made it sound like it didn't mean anything special... please don't hate me... you're my friend... and..." "Bijou: "No Hamtaro... I'm the one who should be apologizing... I overreacted... I shouldn't have took it so personally... and I should have known better than to leave it on the table like that... and although I love my ribbons... I love my friends and family a whole lot more... I'm really sorry for ignoring you too... I hope you can forgive me..." Hamtaro: "Sure... friends again?" Bijou: "We never stopped being friends in the first place... I'm just happy that you're okay..." said Bijou, before she gives the hamster a big hug, which he returned by the way, and the sight of them hugging one another has touched the hearts of the others. Boss: "Oh man..." Melody: "What's the matter?" Boss: "Huh?, oh nothing... it's just... I think Bijou has a crush on Hamtaro... that's all..." Melody: "Well he is a really sweet little hamster, it's hard to not like him." Boss: "Yeah... that's true..." Gidget: "Don't worry, I'm sure the girl hamster of your dreams is still out there." said Gidget, which made Boss gasped a little while blushing. Boss: "How did you..." Gidget: "Psychic... I can read minds too." said Gidget with a smirk. Boss: "Oh... right..." said Boss, before Hamtaro and Bijou finally let go of each other and looked at the others. Hamtaro: "So uh... did we get enough berries?" Jokey: "We didn't get to pick a lot of berries." Jokeo: "We had to stop picking more when we realized you went missing." Hamtaro: "Oh... sorry about that..." Tommy: "It's okay, we would rather lose our chance to pick a lot of berries than losing our friend." Bijou: "He's right, you're much more important to us than some berries or ribbons." Hamtaro: "I am?" Bijou: "Of course... and if you want to play with my ribbons, just ask next time, okay?" Hamtaro: "Sure, but if I'm going to play with one of them, I'll do it only when you're doing the same, it would be much more fun that way." Bijou: "Good idea... but to tell the truth, I never played with my ribbons before." Hamtaro: "Then maybe I could teach ya, I mean I learned the ribbon playing whenever I see Laura does it." Bijou: "Sure... I would love that." said Bijou with a smile, while Hamtaro does the same.
