Y/N'S POV
"You're coming to the championship, right?" Mom asked and I nodded.
"I promised Taylor I will" I say.
"She's gonna be so happy to see you there" He says.
"Though you turned down all her invitations to attend the other games" She says.
"I don't really see a reason for me to be there, Mom" I say.
"To watch and enjoy" She says.
"Football is fun, honey" She says.
"It's just men playing and pining each other most of the time" I say and she laughs.
"Just show up one time and show support to your sister's boyfriend" She says.
"I'm going because it's Taylor's request, not to support anyone" I say.
I never really liked my sister's boyfriend, he generally gives me the ick.
TIME SKIP
I got in the car with Taylor and Austin.
"How's the concert and the flight?" I asked Taylor.
"The concert was amazing while I just slept the whole flight" She says.
"That's good to hear" I say.
"Are you excited?" She asks.
"Nope, she isn't. She tried lying to be sick just so she wouldn't go" Austin says.
I glared at him and rolled my eyes.
"Why do you hate football so much?" Taylor asks.
"I don't hate football, Tay. It's just not my thing" I say.
"You're going because of Travis?" She asks.
"Absolutely not, I'm going because I'm your good little sister who keeps her promise" I say.
"You're also my little sister, but you're so rude towards me" Austin complains.
"Shut up, Austin. You made me wear this ugly red shirt" I say.
"Teffy, she's so mean!" He whines.
"Are you sure you're not the youngest? You're such a brat" I say.
"Stop it, you two. Why are we all even in the same car?" Taylor says.
"Austing should've went with mom and dad" I say.
"Why did you let the two divorcees ride the same car?" She asks.
"They still might reconcile" Austin says and laughs.
"You're so unserious, mom has a boyfriend!" Taylor says and they both laugh.
This is how we cope.
"By the way, red suits you" Taylor says.
"I told you!" Austin says.
"It says Kansas Chief on it" I say.
"Obviously, it's the team we're supporting" He says.
"I'm not supporting anyone" I say.
"You're such a hater" He says.
"I don't like this. You should've just gotten me one without anything written on it, just a plain red one" I say.
"I don't even know anyone from the team except Tay's boyfriend" I say.
"You complain too much" He says.
