Dean could hear voices, none of it made sense. No matter how hard he tried it just didn't. He was lost in pitch blackness. Dean didn't know where he was.
He heard his name and last name called a few times but his eyes would never open. It felt like there was a weight on them, not wanting to be opened.
"Dean" he heard a voice call his name.
Not just any random voice.
Castiels soft voice, he missed that voice so much. He don't know how Cas could be saying his name. He died.
Finally with a lot of force Dean pushed his eye lids open and tried to scan the room.
It wasn't to bright, the TV as on commercial he had a IV in his arm. His body hurt to move, he knew it was a hospital room but why? He turned to the right and saw Castiel. He was sleeping and holding Dean's hand, Dean missed that touch.
Was it all a dream?
It has to be. It is!
"Cas" Dean burst into tears quietly
Cas eyes opened
"Dean Oh my God your awake!" He smiled and held on to his hand tightly.
"Dean why are you crying?" Castiel asked
"Because I missed you so much" Dean cries his breathing got off track.
"I've been right here Dean" Cas smiled and kissed his forehead.
"I saw you die, I can't do that Cas, I can't" he chokes out, Cas frowns.
"It's okay Dean, I'm here and I'm not going to leave you" Castiel scooted Dean over in bed and layed next to him.
"Cas what happened to me?"
Dean asked
"Don't you remember?" Cas asked
"No" Dean shook his head
"You were shot Dean" Castiel replied.
