'Hearth!' Blitz shouted, forgetting he was deaf, he knocked on their bedroom door. He turned the handle and crept in stepping quietly, wincing at every creak the floor boards made in vain. He poked his head round a corner into their bathroom. He saw Hearth dancing around the bathroom twirling his scarf around one finger, hips swaying. Blitzen leaned on the doorway a smile playing on his lips. Hearth caught his reflection in the mirror and stopped dead in his tracks, his face lighting up in green, he signed How long you stand there?

Long enough to see your cute lil dance.

Hearth turned a darker shade of green. We still going to the café?

Hearthstone, I have been waiting for a full 15 minutes for you thinking you have been doing something productive with your life.

It is productive, it makes- it doe- it helps me broaden my emotional status. Yeah. That.

Sure. Lets goooo.

Hearth pointed to the table nearest to the window overlooking the horizon. Blitzen nodded and consented to being dragged to the table. A pale barista sashayed to them and leaned on their table. Hearths eyes widened when he saw her ears, pointed at the tip like his, I like your ears he signed blushing profoundly. Blitzen was suddenly grateful for his skin tone as if it was a shade lighter they could have been able to see the hot red color that had surged up and settled on his ears. Anger bubbled up inside of him, he kept his eyes glued to the table not wanting to witness anymore. He heard the clack of her heels grow distant and he shot his head up, glaring at Hearthstone. What the hell was that he mouthed knowing full well Hearth could read lips and he didn't need sound to. Hearth looked at him, tilting his head to one side. Oh no you don't, you know exactly what I mean, flirting with the barista, really?! Hearthstone's mouth made a perfect O with the realization of what Blitzen meant. No no no no that's not- he tried to say but Blitz cut him off. And she flirted BACK he sniffed, his anger melting away to hurt. Blitz lifted his hand to continue when Hearth grabbed his hand and pulled him into a soft kiss, more meaningful than an apology could ever be. Hearth curled his legs around Blitzen's and settled down contently signing a last Besides it doesn't matter to me, I belong to you and only you .
