Kel was sitting at the table chatting with Polly and Basil's grandmother. Two empty seats at the end of the dining table were left for Basil and Sunny. The table was full of half eaten chicken, pie, mashed potatoes, green beans, cooked carrots, cauliflower, and an empty carton of Orange joe(A special request from kel.)
"My, my, you two boys were about to miss up on dinner, no worries we left some for you." Polly chuckled as she cut a piece of chicken for Basil. Basil didn't need her to baby him, but she wanted to, she thought treating him like a child would help him. Basil acknowledged it but didn't want to mention it to Polly, she was so sweet and caring after all. And Basil always felt bad for how he used to treat Polly. He was turning 17 soon, and he knew he couldn't let Polly cut up his food for him forever.
They all took turns talking, laughing, and smiling all throughout the night.
