FROM THE MOMENT KINSEY SINGER took her first breath, the monsters within the shadows were already after her. Her mother was a hunter who swore to protect those who couldn't protect themselves from the evils that lurked. However, by the time Kinsey's 6th birthday rolled around, fate's cruelness stole Caroline away from her forever. From that moment, she was left on her Uncle Bobby's doorstep, her father rarely visiting her — driven crazy by revenge. Although Bobby tried his damn hardest to shield her from the harsh reality of the shadows, Kinsey's childhood was forever changed.

By the age of eight, Kinsey wielded blades with skill far beyond her years. Despite her lack of years of knowledge, she was still smart and vigilant. She works with precision, knowing the smallest of mistakes could cost her life, the fear of ending up like her mother never leaving her thoughts.

Kinsey's childhood was nothing like any other child's. While others played with other children, she stalked the shadows, hunting the monsters that dared to threaten humanity.

Despite her skill and strength as a young huntress, Kinsey carried many burdens. As other children her age played around, she longed for a sense of normalcy. Kinsey often felt like giving up, the pressure of her responsibilities weighed heavy on her shoulders. Each time she entered school, a wave of constant sadness came over her as she was reminded of what life she could've had. Kinsey wished for nothing more than the ability to trade her weapons and skill for young, immature innocence.

However, she realised she wasn't the only child in the same situation as her. One day, two children who went by the names Sam and Dean Winchester were left with Bobby, the same way Kinsey was. However, the only difference was that their father, John, came back for them — the complete opposite of Adam Singer.

Kinsey was cautious of the two brothers to begin with, scared that if she grew close, they would be snatched away from her the same way her mother was. However, the longer they spent with each other their friendship grew to the point they were more like family, especially with Dean. Dean was like the older brother she never had, whereas Sam was much more distant from Kinsey.

Dean not only taught Kinsey the art of hunting, in more detail than Bobby had ever dared, but also how to stand tall against the kids at school who thought they were better than her. He empowered her to confront her inner demons, and he became the help she didn't know she needed.

Amidst the carnage and chaos of her struggles, Kinsey clung to one very fragile hope: to find the father who had abandoned her, to uncover the truth behind his betrayal, and perhaps, to mend the shattered bonds of family. And so, with her blade in hand and fire in her heart, Kinsey Singer roamed the world, a lone hunter in search of both vengeance and redemption.
