And she'd tell him every day
So he'd always see it through
"Don't you know how long I've been
Waiting for someone like you?
Nothing's felt more meaningful
Than when you stood next to me
Building dreams together,
With nothing to lose and no one to be
And not even the summer rays
Under a spotless blue sky
Could ever brighten my days
As your presence can comply"
Despite it all, Celya still carried a weight
Wishing this love was approved by her family
But she felt the healing in his fingertips
And with him, the smiles came easy
And this was enough for her
Or at least enough for now
For him she'd be the flattered fool
Who earned the windfall somehow
