Cesc came home one day

A warm evening on a Friday

He took a step through the door,

And met with torn papers on the floor

He heard faint cries in the distance

Following them he found his lover,

Tear stained face and shoulder shaking.

With a sinking feeling, he rushed over

"Darling what's wrong?"

He asked so worriedly

Taking her into his arms

And wiping her tears gently

"Why is your  work scattered and ripped

I've never seen you this way before

And I can see your hands are trembling

But what they trembling for?"

"I've been staring at these blank pages

For what seems like days

The words used to come so easily

Now the yard became so fazed

I've been rejected by another editor

I guess I'm not as good as I thought I was

Hush me darling, maybe I've lost my touch

Maybe I've lost my guts

There, is that truth enough?

What a pitiful writer I am,

One who can't seem to write at all

My style is bleak, my words are flat,

And I guess my talent took a fall"

"Hey now" he said gently

"The heaviness in your eyes is enough

Darling just use a little patience

I know how much it can be tough

You have what it takes, never doubt it

No matter where you stand

Or what you do, the world

Is in the palm of your hand

It's alright baby, you got lost on the way

But you're an angel and angels shouldn't cry

Don't worry, you'll find your calling someday

You're an angel and angels should fly"
