"Mr. Zero!"
Penn looked up from his doodle.
Mrs. Genesis was going to give him detention if he didn't answer this question correctly.
I'm so dead! he thought. He knew he should've paid attention, but math was so boring!
"Mr. Zero, what is two thousand fifteen divided by three?" Mrs. Genesis asked, giving the redhead a cold stare.
Shoot!
"Uh, ten?"
He saw Sashi Kobayashi, his female Asian part-time sidekick, facepalm. Mrs. Genesis shook her head.
"Not. Even. Close. The correct answer was six hundred seventy-one point sixty-seven," the math teacher said flatly. "Detention."
Penn slammed his face on his desk.
Stupid math teacher!
At least today couldn't get any worse.
