we fled from the streets
you found me in
from where I was supposed to be
We touched the stars
You healed my scars
We gazed at the earth
From the moon
We swam in seas
and slept in ease
Only knew
Of love and peace
But then you found
Something else in me
Sorrow from where
I used to be
You couldn't help
but wanted to leave
I gave you space
and never saw your face
I was back home
Right where you found me
but now it stung.
Our memories where
my torn shirt hung
I gazed at the stars
Who's mocking grace
Did nothing but
Remind of your face
My scars burned
From the lonely life I lived
But this time
With the ones you gave
I searched the moon
From the Earth in disdain
But it hid from sight
Feeling my pain
I drown in seas
In my darkest nightmares.
Atleast I sleep
Still, those memories seep
I'm sorry I'm this sad
Things had always been bad
You thought I couldn't make you happy
Maybe not, but atleast I loved you deeply
