Narrator

The next morning came around and Y/n had woken up late. They rushed to put on their uniform and walked over to make sure that Haerin was all ready to go...

But Haerin was nowhere to be found.

- Y/N POV -

I quickly put on my shoes and hoped that I could catch up to Haerin.

The weather channel warned of a storm, so I wanted to make sure she had an umbrella to protect herself from the rain.

I grabbed my backpack and ran out the door.

Only to see Haerin standing outside.

"Hey?" I asked a bit confused

"Hey?" I asked a bit confused.

Haerin didn't seem to hear me.

"Wow, she's really pretty," I thought to myself as I waited for a response.

I caught myself staring a little too long and cleared my throat a bit.

Haerin finally turned to look at me and gave me a wide smile.

"She has fangs," I silently noticed.

I hadn't realized how cute her smile was too.

"Why are you outside?" I asked, trying to get a hold of my thoughts.

"I was waiting for you," Haerin couldn't stop smiling at me.

For some reason, I felt my heart flutter.

Something felt so familiar about her just standing there.

"Thanks," I nervously responded.

I had no idea why I suddenly felt so flustered all of a sudden.

"Umm, should we head to school?" I asked.

Haerin nodded and we went on our way.

The rain started falling about halfway to school, so I pulled out my umbrella and held it up for us.

Well, more like, I held it up for Haerin.

The rain was falling at an angle and I didn't want Haerin to get all wet, so I surrendered my half of the umbrella to make sure she was alright.

When we arrived at school, Karina was already waiting for us.

"You made it. I was starting to worry," She greeted me with a kiss.

For some reason, I felt bad that Haerin saw me kissing Jimin. I had never felt bad about it before, but today I did.

Today felt different.
