prologue

Young Y/n Pov 

Dragons they were everywhere my parents had went to help fight them off so i was stuck inside  suddenly a monsteras nightmare broke in the house so i ran outside bad idea i was running and  dodging all kinds of dragons i only had one place to hide the forest so i did i ran a fast as my little legs would go then i spotted a cave i ran into it and hid that's when i heard a growl behind me i slowly turned around there it was a dragon but this dragon was none that i had ever heard about before or even read about it was white with blue eyes it started to charge up plasma almost like a night fury i started to very slowly back up soon i noticed something in the dragons leg an arrow "ok this might get me killed but Ima do it anyway" i spoke then i quickly yanked the arrow out and backed up "ok there you go now I'm gonna leave so you can fly away"

So, i turned away and sprinted out of the cave and started heading back the village suddenly i was lifted into the air "OH MY THOR!!" I looked up and i was the same dragon from the cave "hey!!" the dragon looked down at me "put me down this instant!!" The dragon then looked up ahead again as were now flying over water "I'm not your property!!!" The dragon still ignored me so gave up soon i could see lush island ahead not long after we landed well the dragon landed i was thrown on the grass i sat up and looked at the dragon "uhm" "why did you bring me here?" I questioned the dragon did a low roar by the sound of the roar said dragon was female the dragon then nodded her head in a toward something and started walking to it, so I followed 

Soon we arrived at some sort of nest i looked at it then saw one singular black egg "huh where's the mama dragon?" I wondered "well since you have no mama i guess I'll take you" i picked up the egg carefully and looked at the dragon next to me "let's go back?" I spoke calmly to the dragon getting less scared of her by the minute we started walking back that's when i got an idea "you know i should give you a name since it looks like I'm not leaving anytime soon" i looked at the dragon waiting for some sort of answer the dragon looked at me and made some kind of sound "I'll take that as a yes how about Mindi?" I question then we reach back to where i guess we will be staying i sit down with the egg cradled in my arms the dragon looks at me and makes the same sound as before "ok Mindi it is" suddenly my stomach Gumbles loudly "oh yeah I'm a bit hungry Mindi can you get us some food?" I asked Mindi then took off i assumed to hopefully get food i felt movement in my lap so i looked down and saw a big crack in the egg i quickly put on soft grass and watched as it started to hatch "it's already hatching! oh Thor what do i do?" I started to panic "i don't know how to take care if a baby dragon!" I heard Mindi land behind me and turned around "Mindi the egg is hatching!!" I spoke quickly as i was panicking Mindi dropped all the fish she was holding and came over to where i was siting to watch it hatch i got up and grabbed some supplies for a fire and set it up "hey Mindi, can you light this fire for me?" I asked Mindi turned her head and lit the fire with a plasma blast "thanks" i said and walked back over to the egg and soon the top half of the egg cracked open and fell off and out tumbled a baby night fury "woah a night fury" i said as i carefully picked up the baby dragon i looked at me With it's cute blue eyes and nuzzled its head into me "i guess you just imprinted oh well I'm a mama now i guess" i sat down near the fire grabbed some fish and fed it to the baby dragon Mindi also came over and grabbed some fish to eat i grabbed myself a piece and cooked it over the fire after i was done i ate and yawned getting tired i scooted close to Mindi held the baby night fury close and layed down

"Goodnight mindi" "good night solar" i said to the dragons just coming up with the name solar and went to sleep 

A/n I'm on Xbox so this a little hard I'm open for constructive criticism i hope you all like this i also don't post on a schedule  but i will try to post often enough
