Astrid Pov

I woke up to obnoxious knocking at my door i grabbed my axe opened the door and pointed it at whoever was knocking it was snotlout  "what do you want snotlout?" I asked visibly upset at him for waking me "w-welll hiccup told me to come get you because you late for the meeting" about the mystery rider" snotlout said cowering under my harsh glare when i realized i had overslept i never overslept this was all because i had stayed up late thinking about this mystery rider i pushed passed snotlout and speed walked to the clubhouse 

Once i had made it there with snotlout i walked inside and sat down hiccup and the others looked at me weird i glared at them and they stopped soon hiccup spoke up to announce something "i have sent a terror mail to mala asking for her help she said we could visit her island today to come up with plan i will fill her in on the news of the rouge rider when we get there" "everyone please get your dragons saddled up and get ready to head to the defenders of the wing" everyone went to go get ready while was just lost in thought thinking about this rider again suddenly i felt a hand on my shoulder i jumped

"Hey, you ok you seem uh out of it" it was heather "yeah I'm fine no need to worry heather" i reassured her with a smile "ok but if you need someone to talk to I'm all ears" "ok thanks heather see you in a bit" "see you Astrid"

Time skip (they've arrived at defenders of the wing minus dagur he's back at berserker island)

Still Astrid Pov

"and that's why we need your help we need to know if they're friend of foe mala" hiccup finished informing queen mala of the mystery rider  "oh my that's quite the situation and since it's a new species of dragon we don't know what type of fish it like come walk with me hiccup well figure it out together"  "ok" hiccup said and walked off with queen mala while sat down next to stormfly and again my thoughts drifted to the mystery rider and soon i got lost in thought thinking about them

Another time skip I know I'm lazy still Astrid Pov

I was jolted out of my daydream when i heard hiccup and mala come back "you guys got any ideas?" I questioned as i walked up to them "yes we do actually everyone we have a plan!" Hiccup called to everyone gathered to hear hiccups plan 

One explanation later 

"Alright let's get things set up everyone" hiccup said and everyone got to work setting up their part of the plan

Y/n Pov  

I put Mindis saddle on her and said, "solar want to come on a joy fly with us?" He got up and came over excited because he hadn't come on a joy fly with us in a while  i got my flight gear on and opened the door to let the dragons outside i got on Mindi and we flew up as solar followed us "north again? " I ask Mindi roars and turns north fun fact about light fury's they have a great since of direction i looked back and saw solar right behind us soon we started to do areal tricks along with solar suddenly Mindi and solar smelt something and started heading towards an island we landed and there were tons of fish laying out Mindi dove right into the salmon and solar the cod

I was walking further in slowly looking around suspiciously when weird, masked people jumped out and grabbed me and held me down on my knees i look over to my dragons hearing their distressed roar and saw the masked people force feeding them some kind of fruit i struggled Due to the restraints "don't you touch them!!" I yelled but it was too late they had fed the weird fruit to my dragons i turned my head at the sound of a voice and saw a women and the same dragon riders from before "what are you doing trespassing on my island" i looked at the women and said "no this this was a trap you wanted me to trespass didn't you" she looked shocked i had figured it out "the queen must not be spoken to that way" a man next to her said starting to come my way when she stopped him "stand down throck" she said "now i suggest you surrender or you will answer to the nest" i glared at her and said nothing "very well then bring them to the nest" i was then dragged to a cave and saw a pit of speed stingers "now again i suggest you surrender" "no" was the only word i said "ok throw them in" i was thrown into the pit i undid my restraints and did a special whistle as the speed stingers surrounded me soon i heard two roars and plasma blasts were shot at the speed stingers and i was lifted out by Mindi i got off her and solar and Mindi were charging up plasma ready to attack on command 

"Tell you dragons to stand down" shouted the queen "let me go then" "ok we will just tell them to stand down" i waved my hand down and the two stopped "you have a night fury!!" Said a blonde-haired male "yes? What's so shocking?" I ask" "we thought toothless was the last of his kind" a brown-haired boy said "toothless?" I asked confused "oh that's my night fury's name" "Here let's go show him your night fury he will be so excited" by now we were out of the cave and heading towards their dragons "toothless come look it's another night fury!!" suddenly toothless came over running solar was so excited they both started playing together happy knowing they aren't the last of their kind "oh hey does your night fury have a name?" Asked the boy "yes, his name is solar" "awesome name oh and my names hiccup everyone get over here so i can introduce you" everyone came over and hiccup started introducing them "that's fishlegs snotlout Astrid heather ruffnut tuffnut queen mala and throck" "what's your name" askes Astrid 

"I'm y/n y/l/n and this is my light fury Mindi and night fury is solar"  "can you take off your mask y/n" askes heather "no" i say "but why" askes Astrid "because i said no"  "now i must get going solar time to go!" he looks at toothless then me and sadly walks over to me "wait y/n look at him how about spend a couple days at the Edge with us if you don't like it you can go back to your island and if you do will you move into the Edge with us and become dragon rider?" i think for a second "my island is west from here pick me up tomorrow?" "Yes!! of course, we will see you tomorrow" he said "ok"  i took off a headed home 

What an eventful day...

Heather Pov (you didn't see that coming? Pls understand that ref) time skip

Were now back on the edge i was heading to Astrid hut once i got there i knocked but no answer so opened the door and saw her at her desk drawing something "Astrid" she jumped and quickly hid what she was drawing "h-heyy heather what are you doing here" "i came to Check up on you what are you drawing" i grab the paper to look at it "no no no don't look at that" "can't be that bad let me see" i look at the drawing and I'm speechless  the drawing is of Astrid pinning y/n to a wall i put the drawing down and look Astrid for an explanation "i can explain" "uh yes please do" i ask "ok well i don't know.." "What do you mean i don't know oh and i know why this is happening" "she's got you whipped" i see the confusion on her face " your head over heels for her" "your right and i haven't even seen her face..." "Once we gain her trust maybe she will show us?" "For now, get some sleep I'll go convince hiccup to let you go pick her up alone" "so you can get to know her" "ok thanks heather" "no problem see you tomorrow" i then left to go speak to hiccup
