As we finished our dinner, my excitement peaked, and I couldn't hold back my curiosity any longer.

"So, when's our flight to Korea?" I blurted out, unable to contain my eagerness.

Jungkook grinned, his eyes shining with excitement. "We're jetting off tomorrow," he announced, his voice brimming with anticipation.

"Tomorrow?!" I exclaimed, my jaw dropping in surprise. "Wow, that's like, super soon!"

Jungkook chuckled, his smile infectious. "Yeah, but I can't wait to show you around Seoul," he said, his excitement rubbing off on me.

With our travel plans set, we spent the rest of the evening hanging out with my crew and fam, swapping stories and making big plans for the trip ahead.

As the night wound down, I realized it was my last night at home before the adventure of a lifetime. With a mix of nostalgia and excitement, I packed my essentials and bid adieu to my old dorm room, ready to dive headfirst into the next chapter.

Back at my folks' place, I settled into my old room, feeling a sense of comfort wash over me. Tomorrow was the start of something new, and I was totally pumped for it.

The next morning, I was rudely awakened by a knock on my door. Rubbing the sleep from my eyes, I opened it to find Jungkook standing there, grinning like a dork.

"Morning, sleepyhead," he teased, his eyes twinkling with mischief.

I blushed at being caught off guard, feeling kinda cute in my silk PJs. "Hey there," I replied, feeling a little flustered.

Jungkook's grin widened at my disheveled state. "You look adorable when you're half-asleep," he remarked, his tone teasing yet sweet.

I couldn't help but giggle at his comment, feeling a warm fuzzy feeling bubble up inside me. "Thanks," I mumbled, feeling a little bashful

i went downstairs and  saw everyone waitng ther for me

We dug into a scrumptious breakfast my mom whipped up, chatting about everything and nothing. The clock ticked closer to our departure time as we enjoyed our last family meal together. Finally, we hit the road at 7:30 am, saying our goodbyes to my siblings and parents.

"Take care of yourself, Ari," Mom said, her voice tinged with worry as she hugged me tight.

"Mom, I'll be fine. It's just a short trip," I reassured her, trying to ease her concerns.

Dad gave me a stern look, his protective instincts kicking in. "And you," he turned to Jungkook, "Take care of our girl, Jungkook. She means the world to us

My older twin brothers, Matthew and Daniel, clapped Jungkook on the back, offering their own words of advice. "Don't mess this up, man. Ari's our baby sister, after all," Matthew teased, though his eyes held a hint of seriousness.

Jungkook nodded, a determined look in his eyes. "I will, sir. I promise theres nothing to worry about she in safe hands ," he replied, his voice steady.

rolling my eyes i said "ughhhhh dad really ,and you two aswell " i said staring at daniel and matthew

we gathered our stuff and started walking out

My parents stood on the doorstep, their faces etched with a mixture of pride and sadness.

"Take care of yourself, sweetheart," my mom said, enveloping me in a warm hug.

"I will, Mom," I promised, squeezing her tightly.

Jungkook gently reminded me about our undercover mission at the airport, prompting me to grab my disguise from my bag. "Can't forget these," he said with a grin, holding up a mask and sunglasses.

At the airport, my friends orchestrated a surprise that warmed my heart. They appeared out of nowhere, armed with balloons and a giant banner that read "Bon Voyage, Ari!"

Tears welled up in my eyes as they handed me a scrapbook filled with cherished memories and inside jokes. "We'll miss you like crazy, Ari," Hannah said, her voice choked with emotion.

"I'll miss you guys too," I replied, hugging them tightly.

We laughed and reminisced about all the adventures we'd shared over the years, from late-night study sessions to impromptu road trips. Despite the sadness of parting, there was an overwhelming sense of gratitude for the bond we shared.

With hugs and laughter echoing around us, I boarded the plane, feeling a mixture of excitement and nostalgia for the journey ahead.

As the plane ascended, I felt a flutter of nervousness in my stomach. Jungkook noticed my unease and reached out to hold my hand, offering a comforting presence.

"You doing okay?" he asked, concern evident in his eyes.

I nodded, grateful for his reassuring touch. "Just a bit nervous about flying, you know?"

Jungkook squeezed my hand gently. "I get it. Flying can be intimidating, but you're doing great."

As we settled into our seats, Jungkook started chatting about our upcoming trip to Korea. He talked about his life back home with such enthusiasm, describing the bustling streets of Seoul and the delicious food we'd get to try.

"I can't wait for you to meet my hyungs," he said, his eyes lighting up with excitement. "They're like my second family, and I know they'll love you."

I smiled, feeling a warmth spread through me at his words. "I'm excited to meet them too. And to explore Korea with you."

Jungkook grinned, his gaze filled with affection. "It's gonna be amazing, I promise."

As the plane hummed steadily through the air, the gentle rhythm lulled me into a sense of calm. Leaning against Jungkook's shoulder, I felt myself drifting off to sleep, the steady rise and fall of his chest a comforting presence.

In the midst of my slumber, I heard Jungkook's voice, soft and barely audible. "She looks cute when she sleeps," he murmured to himself, a fond smile tugging at the corners of his lips.

Though I pretended to be asleep, his words brought a flutter of warmth to my chest. It was moments like these, the quiet intimacy of being together, that made me feel incredibly lucky to have Jungkook by my side. And as I drifted into peaceful sleep, I couldn't help but feel grateful for his unwavering presence and the love that surrounded us.
