quiet afternoon

That afternoon I decided I was ready to leave the others were obviously concerned but I wasn't gonna let some nightmare ruin my time with multiple different characters this may be my only chance to have them so close

So I left going downstairs plum ran over looking worried “there you are! I was so worried when nightmare said you had a terrible dream”

I smiled who wouldn't be happy having one of their favorite people show they care “I'm good now plum a rough start but nothing I can't bounce back from” I gave him a reassuring pat on the head and he sighed in what I assume is relief

“Thank goodness I wanted to show you some of my latest designs for you and shade if your up for it that is” I nodded immediately “I absolutely want to see come on shares been needing a new wardrobe since forever ago”

Plum smiles taking my hand and leading me outside he pulls me to sit with him on the grass as he picks up his sketchbook and starts showing off his designs

Almost like a kid showing their parents the macaroni art they made in school except it's actually good “these are amazing plum you really captured his edgy persona while keeping the soft bits

One design that stood out to me was an all black outfit ripped jeans and a turtleneck sweater kinda like mine and silver accessories like chains on the jeans and necklaces and rings he really had everything planned out including making a cute beanie with silver charms

“Do you plan to make these anytime soon?” I could feel the excitement radiating from him in this moment “absolutely! I was planning to go shopping with classic and reaper for some materials”

I just shrug I've gotten used to the unusual combinations of people by now but I have to ask “classic and reaper? I didn't know you three hung out” plum just laughed and waved me off

 “oh yeah they're like my scary dogs you know especially classic he treats me like a little brother sometimes I'm pretty sure he thinks I don't notice though and reaper is sweet he's just awkward around people because of the whole death touch thing”

I nods and shrug “alright makes sense you are a very lovable person” I saw a purple blush settle on his face “aww you flatter me to much whisp”

I smile “to much? Oh please it's not enough your honestly so cool there aren't enough words in the world to describe how amazing you are” plum pushed me obviously flustered “oh stop are you sure you aren't lol for s relationship your flirting game is great”

I just laugh it off “thanks but nah not right now besides who would I even be with fate? Destiny? No offense but I see most if not all of you as kids

Plum pouts playfully “aww and here I thought I had a chance but seriously kids? Is that why you are the way you are most of the time”

I didn't realize I acted a certain way “what do you mean” plum raise a bonebrow “you haven't noticed? anytime one of us does something especially if it's good you'll have this parental or protective look”

I blinked in silence who wouldn't be stunned learning something like this did everyone notice but me “well damn this is definitely news to me”

Reaper steps out of the house with shade both seemed to be talking before they caught site of us “oh hello” he awkwardly waved as shade came to sit next to us bringing reaper along with him 

“Shade I need confirmation do I have a parental look when you or the others do good things” shade nods “yeah all the time why” plum laughed while I laid back in the grass “jeez I really am bad at hiding my feelings”

Reaper looked down at me “it's not bad at least we know you care” I just sigh “yeah but sometimes I want to be cool and mysterious and I can't do that if everyone knows how I feel”

Shade shrugs “face it your not the cool mysteriously type your the parent stick with what your good at” I push shades face away “shut up or I'll start talking about my sex life again”

Shade gagged moving away “jeval no do not start that it was bad enough when we thought you were sleeping with fresh” plum coughed in shock “fresh!? When did that happen!” I groaned the memory was still fresh and embarrassing

“After I brought you home when we first met I toke fresh with me back to my room and just laid him next to me and I went to sleep next thing I know I'm waking up with him wrapped around me like I'm a stuffed animal and the others standing at my door like they've seen a ghost”

Plum laughed holding his stomach “oh that's adorable he was holding you tight wasn't he” i covered my face “yeah I could barely move he was like a koala holding a tree” my response only made plum giggle more

and for a split second I saw shades face flush gray before he quickly calmed himself glancing around I caught his eye mainly because of the mischievous smirk on my face 

Shade shakes his head at me and looks over at plum who just stopped laughing “do you have any new designs I could see” obviously he's trying to change the subject but it seems plum and reaper fall for it as plum excitedly starts rambling about his new designs and reaper sits next to them listening intently along with shade

I watched as they sat together and talked and I'm pretty sure I have the look that plum was talking about but can you blame me their so cute huddled together talking about fashion

It's almost like a love triangle but the mc doesn't realize their two best friends are in love with them and the two best friends don't want to mess with the mcs innocence

“I can feel you fantasizing whisp” I cleared my throat I hate when he basically reads my mind “shut up I'm not mind your business”

He sighed and continued listening plum I smile and continue to fantasize a perfect way to bounce back from a harsh morning I wonder what else we'll get up too
