Opposites Attract

Chapter 1

It's been three years since Kōtarō Bokuto and Akito Kazuma had started dating. They were in their final year of high school. Akito was the cold and emotionless Student Body President, while Kōtarō was the energetic confident captain and ace of the volleyball team. The thing was no one besides them and their family knew that they were dating. It wasn't like they kept it a secret on purpose, it was just Akito wasn't that big on PDA and preferred to show affection in private. Bokuto never minded not being able to show PDA though it did get hard at times especially when people didn't know that Akito was in a relationship and would try to flirt with him angering the owl boy. Of course, Akito would shower Bokuto in affection as soon as they were in a private area to reassure the ace. 

Currently,  Kōtarō Bokuto was speaking with his best friend and teammate  Akaashi Keiji about something he wanted to try during practice today. As Bokuto continues to esthetically explain his idea to his friend who seemed to want to be anywhere but there, a 2nd year came in looking for him. 

Umm, Bokuto-senpai. Kazuma-senpai wanted to speak to you about an important matter in the student council room. The second year says as they come into the classroom. Everyone immediately turned towards Bokuto wondering what the "cold-hearted" student council president needed Bokuto for. 

Alright. See you soon Akaashi. Bokuto says with a huge smile as he makes his way to the student council room a small skip in his step as he is going to meet his handsome boyfriend. When Bokuto gets to the room he knocks on the door before opening it. He is greeted with the sight of his handsome boyfriend sitting at the head of the table writing on some documents. Bokuto quickly closes the door before making his way to his boyfriend. 

You wanted to see me, Aki. Bokuto says as he makes his way towards his boyfriend with a huge smile.

Yes, I wanted to let you know I won't be able to walk home with you after you're practice I was called to take up a shift at work. Akito says leaning back in his seat to see his partner's face. Bokuto's bright smile turned into a pout when he heard the news that he wouldn't be able to walk home with him. 

Aww, but why? Bokuto wined as he moved Akito's chair to stand in front of him. 

Someone called out, and to be honest me and Mio could use the extra money. Akito says looking up at his pouting boyfriend. 

If you need help paying for anything, my offer still stands. Bokuto says as he takes a seat on his boyfriend's lap.

 Kōtarō. Akito says as Bokuto sits on his lap. The bigger male just gives him a small smile before placing his head on Akito's neck. 

What. Bokuto says acting innocent.

Are your parents out? Akito asks as he puts his hands around Bokuto pulling him closer much to Bokuto's delight. 

Yep, they left this morning. Bokuto says as he runs his hand up to his hair to begin playing with it. 

You know you can always come over and stay at my place. Mio wouldn't mind she enjoys having you over. Akito says letting out a sign as Bokuto starts playing with his hair. 

Really. Bokuto asks 

Really. Akito assures 

Then maybe when you come home tonight there will be a surprise in your room. Bokuto teases lifting his head to face Akito a smile gracing his face once more.

Well, I look forward to that surprise. There are leftovers in the fridge enough for you and Mio. Plus I'm pretty sure I still have some of you close from the couple of other times you stayed over. Akito says a small smile on his face. Bokuto always loved his smiles. Akito's smile hid a real smile, not the one he puts up when working or speaking to teachers was always Bokuto's favorite thing about Akito. Other than his ****. Akito's smile was specifically for Mio his little sister, and Bokuto to see. Bokuto leans down and kisses his boyfriend passionately. Akito after a moment of surprise kisses Bokuto back running his hands down his back causing Bokuto to shiver. After a bit, Akito pulls back causing Bokuto to whine a bit.

We need to get to class soon. So we need to stop. Akito says looking at his boyfriend who was once again pouting. 

Fine. Bokuto says getting off his boyfriend's lap. Akito also gets up and smooths his uniform down before kissing Bokuto on the cheek.

I will see you tonight  Kōtarō. Akito says before making his way out of the student council room leaving a flustered Bokuto behind. 

Bokuto was blushing and smiling thinking one thing. I'm definitely going to marry him. Before heading back to his classroom a dopey grin on his face all the way there.
