Bokuto Kōtarō was in his emo mode during Volleyball practice. And the reason for this was that his lovely-sexy-cold boyfriend left before lunch meaning Bokuto only saw him once today. It didn't matter that he would see him tonight, what mattered was that they couldn't have lunch together even though Akito left him a homemade bento box full of Bokuto's favorites.

As Bokuto stares at the clock in the gym with a pout on his face watching as the time ticks by slowly. His teammates watched him in worry. "Hey, Akaashi-senpai do you know what bothering Bokuto-senpai?" a first-year asked the vice-captain. "Yeah, what's going on with Bokuto-san he seems more pouty than usual." Another person chimed in as they all stared at their Ace. "Kazuma-senpai went home early today after he talked to Bokuto about the team." Akaashi answered simply. The whole of the volleyball team knew at that point why their Captain was pouty. ' He misses his crush.' They all thought.

Now the team wasn't that dumb. They knew that their captain had feelings for the cold student president. They could see Bokuto's eyes shine just by the mention of the guy. Though they knew that the stoic male would never return his feelings. Or so they thought.

Akaashi grabbed a ball from the cart and tossed it up into the air striking towards the unsuspecting owl. A loud sound echoed throughout the gym as the ball hit its target right in the face. Everyone was silent other than Bokuto who was winning about getting hit in the face. Bokuto was rubbing the large red mark that Akaashi's assault left him as he looked at the culprit who just turned away and began cleaning up the equipment. "What was that for?" Bokuto yelled. "It's time to clean, Practice is over early due to you being unfocused." Is all Akaashi says as he picks up the balls and toss them into the bin the rest of the team following his lead. "You can go we can finish cleaning." Akaashi adds which makes Bokuto's eyes light up. Without another word, Bokuto ran into the locker room to shower and change before heading to his destination. His future husband's house.

Bokuto stood outside the Kazuma resident bouncing with excitement. As he raised his fist to knock the door swung open revealing a short girl wearing a middle school uniform an annoyed expression on her face quickly disappeared as she saw the tall male. "Oh, Bokuto-senpai I didn't know you were stopping by. Akito-nee isn't home right now but you can come in." The girl says opening the door wider and moving to the side to let the tall male in. "Thank you Mio-chan," Bokuto says walking in and taking his shoes off. " Also how many times have I told you to call me Kōtarō. We have known each other for a while, and soon I'm going to become family." Bokuto says confidently. "Your confidence in you marrying my brother is astonishing. I don't understand how a ball of sunshine like you could be dating my brother who always seems to have a cloud over his head. Mio says walking to the kitchen.

"Hehehe" Bokuto laughs following Mio into the kitchen and taking a seat at the table with her. Mio sat and continued working on her homework. "Wait! How did you know I was at your door?" Bokuto asks looking at the young girl. "I didn't know you were out there, I knew someone was out there because the floorboards creak, and it was annoying since I was doing homework." Mio explains. "Oh, Ok." Bokuto says as the two fall into silence the only sound is Mio's pencil on paper. "Arrgghh!" Mio groans as she erases her markings. "What's wrong Mio-chan." Bokuto asks peering across the table at Mio. "This stupid homework. Usually, Aki-nee helps me but he's picking up a shift tonight." Mio says glaring at her homework. "Oh, well. maybe I can help you. I did learn everything you're learning right now." Bokuto says with a huge smile as he takes Mio's paper to look over.

As soon as Bokuto looked at the paper his head began to spin. MATH. It is his worst subject since forever. Bokuto didn't understand anything that was written on the paper. He tries to recall anything he may remember from his class but his mind is blank. 'Did I even learn this?' Bokuto thinks to himself. "Hehe, maybe let's wait for Aki to come back." Bokuto says handing Mio the paper back. Mio stares at Bokuto with an unamused expression. "If it wasn't math I would have asked you to help. But I know you're shit at it. And I can't he's coming home late and this is due tomorrow." Mio says focusing back on the problem at hand. "Well, I have just the solution then." Bokuto says pulling out his phone. "Oh, and what is that?" Mio asks looking at Bokuto as he takes a picture of her homework.

"And here we go all the answers to that tortuer we call Math. Don't tell Aki I helped you cheat he would kill me, and I'm too handsome to die." Bokuto says presenting Akasshi's image with the answers. "Wow, who knew you could be useful when it came to Homework." Mio states as she copies down the answers. "I know I'm the bes- WAIT WHAT. I can be useful with homework without Akasshi's help." Boukuto says eyes wide. "Suuure you can. You are super helpful with Homework, just as helpful as our parents are." Mio says rolling her eyes. "Don't joke about you're dead parents it's distasteful." Bokuto says flicking Mio's forehead. "There my dead parents I can joke about them all I want." Mio says rubbing her forehead. "By, the way what happened to you're face there's a huge red patch on you're cheek." Mio says poking Bokuto's reddened cheek where the Volleyball hit him. "Ooowww" Bokuto says slapping Mio's hand away. "I'm hungry." Mio says getting. "Do you want anything?" Mio asks as she puts on her brother's apron that she had to wrap around her before tying. "Yes please." Bokuto grinned.

And with that, Mio began cooking as Bokuto walked to his boyfriend's room for one of his hoodies.
