There was once a man
Who came out of the blue
He traveled in a caravan
When he turned twenty-two
He globe-trotted across the states
After getting kicked out at age sixteen
Now he's in dire straits
Peering through the screen
He was in need of a meal
And went to get some grub
They offered him a deal
And got to work in a club
His new life just began
By playing a couple of strokes
He wasn't just another man
That cracked some jokes
This lad made his own poems
And only had an old fiddle
He didn't mean to cause problems
And he wasn't the kind to diddle
He played the last note
Just when the mic explodes
Guess what they wrote?
“Watch out for Aster Rhodes”
He's just a rumrunner
Who plays blues, jazz and soul
He's a ravenous monster
Who can use mind control
Watch out! Here comes Aster
Once in rags smuggling for fruits
He is nothing short of a disaster
Now wears fancy slacks and suits
He's just a court jester
Who quips and plays the fool
He's a devious trickster
Who can use mind control
Watch out! Here comes Aster
He only has an old violin
Watch and learn from the master
The show is about to begin
