ALRIGHT.

First things first, forgive me. I love them.

This was all just a joke at first, because I loved the two together a lot, and wanted to write a story about them since I had seen no one else do it. I also wanted to write a separate story with them so I wouldn't make Dagger Squad only about their little blooming chemistry. But, I had went back and forth between doing it or not for a few reasons. The main one was because I love seeing all these other stories with Hangman and liked those stories too much to want to write one about Phoenix and Hangman. The other reason I wasn't going to go through with it was because I only wanted to throw in a little chemistry between the two in Dagger Squad, then leave it at that. But then I fell down the hole and went a bit overboard... Whoops-

I won't say I didn't mean to over do it, even though I kinda actually didn't mean to go that far LOL, but I'd also kinda be lying if I said I didn't keep doing it on purpose after that.

So then the other day I was writing down my notes for Dagger Squad, thinking about how to have their rivalry still stay held up without getting too cozy, but then I figured out a plan for the separate book to work into the storyline of Dagger Squad and Maverick (Top Gun: Maverick)

After that, I had many ideas for the separate book and got way too excited about making it truly a thing lol

So... Here it is!

I'll update the story cover and start posting the chapters when I get the later chapters of Dagger Squad put out. But for now I'm leaving it here and I might make a playlist for this if I can find songs that match them or the story

Oh, and heads up- you're obviously going to get robbed with every little moment between the two since they aren't going to get together
