chapter 2-the confession-

ELLANORE'S POV

I came home and i slowly went up the stairs so my father wouldn't hear me coming home because he definitely know about the car crash I was in this morning and he will take my driving license away and my car I tiptoed up the stairs but my father called out my name from the kitchen "ella can you come here for a sec" I let out the breath I was holding knowing I'm about to be yelled at for the 7th time this month
I said in my defeated voice "yeah.."
I went downstairs and to the kitchen to see a huge mug in his hand and he was drinking coffee, which isn't a good sign he only drinks coffee in the morning if he drank it at night that means he is stressed about something I finally broke the silence "Listen dad im sorry ok I didn't know and I swear it wasn't my fault this time he was stopping all of a sudden and I hit him and I didn't know it pls don't take my car away!"

He gave me a look and it wasn't anger it was pity I didn't know why tho  he broke the silence and said "ella I'm not mad just sit down we need to talk I've already talked with your mom and we both agreed on this"
I looked at him as I blinked my eyes and said "so your not mad at me for crashing the car" I pointed my thumb behind me towards outside
He shook his head and
He pinched his nose bridge and said
"Ella I need to tell you something but first I want you to know that you will be doing it for the sake of your family your  mom and your sister"

I got a little scared my dad was never this serious before so what ever he's about to say is not a joke I looked at him with a concerned look

He spoke again "as you know the romanos and the delgados have been at war for the past 7 years"
I nodd but stayed silent
He continued
"And they're and our lifes have been a living hell ever since we lost a lot of our people including your sister emillia and they're son Roberto"

I said to my father
"Where are you going with this dad?"

He finished
"Me and the leader of the romanos have made a deal to stop the war between us and become Allies"

I looked at him but he wasn't so happy it's like he was leaving something out
So I said
"Dad they killed emillia and now you wana become allies with them!"

"Hear me out ella I'm not done"
I nod and he continued "we made a deal in order to set peace between families"
" get to the point dad" I said and he looked at trying to figure out how to say words he then said in a commanding voice "well in order for that to happen you have to marry the don of the romanos and then the too families will become allies"

I looked at him trying to process WHAT THE FUCK JUST HAPPENED!!??
"I have to what?" I said as I think I miss heard him, but he repeated
"You have to marry the don ella and there is no way out of this one"

I got up not breaking eye contact with my father and my hands and legs started to shake and I shook my head in disbelief "I will not marry the murderer  of my sister and you can't do anything about it" I say as a tear rolled my down my face he looked up at me disappointed and that's when my mother came in and when she saw our faces she immediately knew what we were talking about she slowly placed her shopping bags on the floor and I said as I looked at her with my eyes filled with tears begging to fall
"Did you know about this.."
She swallowed a big lump in her throat as she tried to say something but kept quite I turned to my father and said
"No."
His brows pinched together and he said
" no what ella?"
I said as a tear fell
"I won't do it"
He said without looking at me and got up "It wasn't a question ellanore"
He poured him self a glass full of whisky and walked out before getting out of the kitchen he looked at me and then said " they will be here tomorrow for dinner i suggest you pull your self together until then"
I didn't let him get because I said
"I don't give a fuck dad im not doing it" I said just above a whisper
He turned to me and said
"I DON'T CARE YOU WILL FUCKING DO AS I SAY BECAUSE LAST TIME I CHECKED IM THE LEADER OF THIS FAMILY NOT YOU"

I yelled back
"WHAT KIND OF A FATHER ARE YOU SELLING YOUR OWN DAUGHTER TO THE KILLER OF YOUR OLDEST DAUGHTER HUH!!??"
he looked at my mother and back at me "be ready tomorrow by 8 end of discussion" with that he....left.....
I looked at my mom and I sobbed " mom do something" I pleaded but she gave me a defeated look and got out of the kitchen

I sat down bringing my knees to my chest and  Burying my face in my arms as I cried my ass of after about 2 hours i got up to go to my room and took a cold shower and fell asleep I was exhausted
I decided that I will agree to marry him only if dad took my name out of the
'el juego de la vida de delgados' which is a game like the hunger game where all the families gather around too see who killed the most people ever and they make her the leader if there is no don in the family

Next morning....

I felt a hand removing a single stand of hair on my face i opened my eyes to see my father i didn't want to talk to him so faced the other side he then spoke
"Im sorry ellanore I never had the intention to hurt you i just... I can't lose you guys too I lost Emmy but I don't want to lose you too I need you to understand me ok mi nenita?"

I can never forgive my father but I got up and faced him and I say
" I will marry the don if my name gets out of the el juego de la vida de delgados and as in for you dad I need time"

He nodded and kissed my forehead got up and left,.
I let go of the breath I didn't know I was holding and went to the bathroom to get ready for today
