"We've got impact!" Bob yells "Direct hit! Direct hit!" He adds "Holy effing cow!" I say. "Miracle number one" I mumble "Dagger two, status?" I ask "Almost there T. Almost there." Rooster says "Fanboy, where's my laser?" I hear him say "Rooster, there's something wrong with this laser!!" Fanboy yells and I felt my heart sink. "Shit! Deadeye! Deadeye! Deadeye!" Fanboy yells "Come on guys, we're running out of time!" Rooster says "Nearly there! Nearly there!" Fanboy says "There's no time, I'm dropping blind." Rooster says "Rooster, I've got this I've-" fanboy tries to say "No time. Pull up." Rooster says then drops the bombs. "Bombs away." He says I don't think I even took a breath until I heard the words "Bullseye! Bullseye! Bullseye!" Fanboy yells "Holy shit. That's miracle number two. Now we're in coffin corner." I mumble to myself
"Here it comes!" I yell as we fly into the SAM's radar. "Radar warning, smoke in the air! Phoenix, break right!" I yell "Here comes another one!!" She yells "Rooster, status?" I ask while releasing flares. "Oh my god..." I hear rooster mumble That's when all of hell broke loose
"Smoke in the air! Smoke in the air!" "Break right, Payback. Break right!" "Breaking right!" "Oh my god, here they come." "Status update, Rooster." "Deploying counter missiles." "Negative contact." "Dagger one defending." "Talk to me, Bob!" "Break right, Phoenix, Break right!" "Nine O'clock!" "Rooster, two more on your sixth!" "Dagger two defending." "Payback! Same on your nose." "Dagger four defending!" "Oh my god." "Talk to me Bob!" "Holy shit!" "Dagger two defending." "Tally! Tally!" "Break right!" "I can't I see it!"
Everyone talking at once, breaking left and right. Fighting to stay alive. Everyone's heart beating out of there chest.
"Dagger two defending!" I hear rooster say "Shit! I'm out of flares!" He yells and my heart stopped "Rooster, evade! Evade." I tell him "I can't shake em. They're on me! They re on me!" He yells and I can hear the panic in his voice. I didn't think, my arms just moved for me. I pulled up flying over Rooster, using my flares to get the missiles off of him. The first missile explodes then the second one hits me. My controls go haywire as I start to crash "Teagan, no!!" I hear rooster yell
I let a single tear fall from my eye. I saved rooster that's all that matters. Right before I hit the ground I try to eject hoping it works. But then everything goes black.
Rooster pov:
"Dagger one is! I repeat dagger one is hit!" Phoenix yells as she watches her best friend going down no site of a ejection "Viper is down!!" She yells "Dagger one status!" Rooster yells "Status!" He yells again "Anyone see Teagan? Does anyone see her!?" He yells "Dagger one! Come in!" Rooster keeps asking "I didn't see a parachute." Payback says "We have to circle back!" Rooster tells them not wanting to expect that she had died "All daggers fly back to ECP." Someone says over the radio "What about Viper??" Rooster asks "Dagger spare, request to launch and provide air cover?" Hangman says "Negative." They tell him "Dagger, you are not to engage. Repeat, do not engage." The person says over the radio "Rooster, those bandits are closing. We can't go back." Phoenix tells him "Rooster, she's gone." She says "Vipers gone." She says sadly "No" rooster mumbles
