M ran a hand through his hair as he looked upon the situation with almost an odd sort of detachment. A few knots that his fingers got caught on were undone after a few more pass throughs. M wouldn't have done such an action in a normal meeting, not wanting to look like he couldn't keep himself tidy, but this situation was way past normal.

This wasn’t how M expected his day to go, and the others clearly felt the same. M wasn't even touching up on how Sabre looked, though he could vividly remember the heart dropping moment when M first saw him and realized he was covered in blood.

Sabre coming into a meeting bleeding out is something he hasn't done yet, but M could see Sabre trying such a thing. Thankfully, today wasn't the day, but Sabre not even changing his clothes showed exactly how odd this situation was.

Even the new arrivals looked tired…well, almost all of them. M glanced at the trio. Rainbow Steve was still jittery, bouncing his legs as he sat. His eyes never stayed still, constantly flickering around the room. They've met eyes a few times, and the confusion Rainbow Steve seemed to get whenever they made eye contact never diminished. The Red Steve part of him wished Rainbow Steve would just say what was confusing him, just so M’s curiosity was sated.

The other player’s appearance, who introduced himself as Lucas, look how M felt. The other Light—which a warning would have been nice—looked as if he was trying his hardest to merge into Lucas’ side. Lucas had an arm over his shoulders, allowing Light to tuck himself away from everyone. He would occasionally peer around the room, giving them all a blank look, before curling back into Lucas.

Sabre, Time, and Light (his version), were standing off in a corner, the low drone of their conversation filling the room. The words were too quiet to hear, but they could see Sabre’s hands gesturing with whatever words he was saying. The other Leaders, the ones that were there at least, were conversing quietly with one another. Their eyes would flicker to the otherworldly group occasionally, before looking away. They didn’t even glance at the Sabre and the other two.

M scribbled in his journal.

When he was told the situation by a Rainbow Kingdom Messenger, M snatched up an empty journal before leaving. It would come in handy once more information about how exactly the three—no four, M remembered Violet explaining Sabre's doppelganger—ended up in their world.

The door opened, prompting everyones’ head to turn and conversations the pitter out.

M caught Lucas and Rainbow having their hands gripping their sheathed weapons, before letting go once they saw it was Orange.

Orange stood there, eyes flickering around the room before landing on the trio. Or, more importantly, Rainbow Steve. No one spoke as Orange stared at them, opening and closing his mouth a few times. Orange turned around and shut the door again.

Rainbow Steve merely gave a confused hum, eyebrows furrowed as he stared at the door. No one seemed willing to answer his unspoken question. They didn't get the chance to when the door opened again to show Orange once more. “Apologies.” He breathed out. “I was merely shocked.”

“Think we’re past that.” Light—his version, Origin they needed to figure something out— grumbled. Sabre elbowed him, seemingly unfazed by the fact he hit metal armor.

Light, the other world's version, nodded yet not raising his head from where it was tucked into Lucas’ side. “Way past that.” His words were muffled yet audible.

M flipped a few pages, before writing. If they were going to be dealing with doppelgangers, it was best to note any difference and similarities between them.

Orange stared at the two, before looking at their version, then at Light again. He let out a sigh, before turning and walking to his seat. “So we’re just waiting for Green?” He asked upon sitting.
