Chapter 6: The Call of Shadows: The Return of the Hunter

Before we start, I have written my Ghost fanfic ass time ago, and that's why it is shit but I'm going to redo some of the parts to make it better. For this fanfic on the other hand, I've been doing chapter by chapter and that one is very recent while the ghost one isn't so please bear with me! Love you!

It is around 2:30 am and you awaken by the sound of your phone ringing, you barely open your eyes to see it is a number you know, jolting up you immediately answer the phone.

"Captin Williams? Wh-What do you need, it's 2:30 in the morning this couldn't have waited til morning?"

"No, It can this is very important but I need to remain calm while I tell you this, ok?" Cap William says

"O-Ok, what is going on?" You say 

"Ok, so he escaped, I'm sorry y/n, but we have no idea where he is, you need to stay safe or with someone for now," Cap Williams says

"Wh-What do you mean, who- who escaped?" You say

"Y/n, don't do this to me. You know who I'm talking about" Cap Williams says

It is quiet on the phone, your head racing at a million miles per second, trying to find out who he is talking about until it finally hits you, It's him, he is out there.

"N-No, you are lying, you-you have to be," You say as your voice starts to shake and you start to panic

"Y/n, I'm so sorry, but he has been out for 6 months and we just found out we have people looking for him. You will be safe, I promise, please you need to calm down" Cap William says, trying to calm you down as he speaks to you over the phone

"6 fucking months Matt?! And you're telling me to calm down?! You telling me the man who killed my best fucking friend and almost me is out there, running around and you're telling me to calm down?! You told me he wouldn't be out at all, never again. You promised me!" You yell threw the phone causing Graves to wake up

"B-Babe? What is going on?" Graves says in a sleepy tone but you don't hear him

"I know this is hard but you are safe, you are with Shadow Company and Graves, right? They will keep you safe, please you need to take some breathes" Cap Williams says

"Do not tell me to calm down, your life isn't in danger Matt, you promised me he would be gone forever and you-you lied to me! He killed Kate in front of me, and almost me! You found me half dead on that table! And you're telling me to calm down?!" You scream threw the phone as you cry

"Y/n, please I know what he did to Kate Andrews and I know what he did to you but you. Graves and all shadows need to catch him. I would help but I can't- I have other missions to do" Cap William says

"What? Really? So you want me, Graves, and The shadows to do this alone?!" You yell into the phone

"You have to, and I know you will, if I wasn't on a mission I would have helped you but I can't. Look, put Graves on the phone and I'll talk to him" Cap Williams says

"Fine- Fine let me wake Graves up," You say, but you already see that he is awake and he can see the tears, the fear, and the anger in her eyes

You are holding the phone out to Graves as you cry "Please- Baby, speak to him- I-I can't" you cry into Graves's chest

"This is Commander Philip Graves, who is this?" Graves says

"Graves, This is Matt William, Y/n's formal captain, a few years ago before she joined you, she was involved in a kidnapping with a friend of hers. Kate Andrews and Kate were killed and Y/n was almost killed but we saved Y/n but not Kate. The guy who killed her friend and hurt y/n. He escaped from the Prison and you, y/ns, and the shadow companies help to find him. Y/n has a file on all of this who he is and what he did to her and Y/n's friend. Read it over, but you need to find this man" Cap Williams says
