Maeve's Pov:

Before Olive's big month, Scott and I (yes I know it's crazy) decided to organize a weekend full of relaxation for her before having to leave and work her ass off for a full month.

"Are you ready?" I ask her as I'm about to open her front door. She rolls her eyes, and I chuckle. We walk in and she is welcomed by the smell of warm apple pie and new flavored candles. "God, this looks amazing" she mumbles and takes off her shoes before marching to the kitchen.

Scott is standing in the kitchen, wearing a ridiculous apron as he cooks meals for Olive that could keep fed a whole army. Olive has a smile so big that goes from ear to ear and I'm so excited for her to enjoy it all.

I walk inside the kitchen and hold in a laughter as I pass the apprentice chef near me, I grab the big guns from the counter and turn to look at Olive.

"What would you like to start with milady?" I ask, looking between her and the big bottle of vodka in my hands.

"Oh before drinking, I definitely need a taste of that apple pie" she smiles and Scott kisses the top of her head. "That's my girl, drinking on full stomach" he cuts a piece of pie and hands it to her as I prepare the shots.

I take a shot and watch as Olive practically swallows a whole piece of apple pie.

A couple of hours later I'm far from sober but still capable of comprehending what is going on around me, Olive keeps laughing as Scott is now trying not to kill the both of us.

"You can't just drink straight vodka and then expect to remain sober, Jesus," he scolds the both of us and walks out the living room.

Olive laughs and I rest on the couch, my head spinning a bit.

"Why aren't you drinking?" I ask him, letting my head rise to look at him. He is standing near the kitchen, leaning against the counter and I sometimes wonder if he has some problem with his posture, always trying to lean against objects.

"This house needs at least one adult to take care of the both of you" he tells me, sighing as he turns to look at his laughing sister.

It's not the best to spend my night, drinking vodka and making my head spin.

"I tend to tell too much about myself when drunk"

Oh fuck, true.

What are you going to tell these people tonight?

Well, I could tell them that I spent the past five days trying to explore Liam's tongue as I try to find the time to break up with him.

Because yes, I will break up with Liam and not because of what Scott said.

I'm done with having to receive flowers instead of real apologies, I deserve someone that doesn't screw up and then doesn't even try to make it better.

So yeah, maybe I'll tell them that.

Or maybe I'll tell them that I have been planning to buy a much needed new armchair because mine is so uncomfy I can barely go and sleep there when Liam' snoring is too loud, another reason as to why I'm breaking up with him.

I stand up and walk back to the kitchen, placing my hands on whatever objects could help me stand up properly without the place spinning around me.

Everything spins but it's nice, so I should stop and grab a bottle of water until I can. My eyes half closed because even though it is the late evening, this place is always so bright and alive, it makes my world spin even more.
