"Okay where here. He's got a tent around here somewhere" Cody said crouching slightly with a syringe in his hand ready.

Y/n followed his steps and cautiously moved like him, crouching down also and moving quietly.

It pitch black now and surely no one could see them now.

Walking towards the tent they both heard snoring.

Cody slightly opened the tent pulling the zipper down as quickly and quietly as he could. Y/n not far behind brought the knife out that Cody had given her earlier.

Ready for anything to happen y/n stood close to Cody. Watching him move his body around.

The guy in the tent snoring stirred and continued snoring after Cody had stopped zipping it down.

He must've been a heavy sleeper y/n thought.

After opening the ten finally x virus climbed in and quickly injected him.

The liquid coursing through him the man shot up crying.

Cody stood back and laughed.

Seeing the man scramble around furiously he succumbed to whatever it was that was injected into him.

"What was that?" Y/n asked pale.

She looked at the man's body seeing his neck dissolved and bleeding.

Cody turned to her.
His laughter dying down looking at her face. She looked scared but not of him, of the chemical he had inserted into the man.

"Oh it was acid. It boils the skin plus it's fast acting so no mucking around. Don't worry it's only painful for like two minutes " he said explaining the substance and how it worked.

Y/n nodded her head slightly grinning

"Cool" she said still staring at the man's body

Cody placed his hand in hers and closed his hand around it.

Looking up she saw his full face again. He'd taken his mask and goggles off.

How he did this so fast she'd never know.

"So what now?" Y/n asked. Looking around she could barely see anything.

"We could chill here for a-bit if you'd like. " he replied.

Still holding hands y/n accepted the suggestion

Looking through the tent they found a flashlight.

"We could use this on the way back to the house" y/n suggested.
After all it was pitch black and was going to be hard to see at all.

Cody nodded
His hair over his face y/n walked up to him shining the flashlight on him it turned on.
His face turned and eyes shut with his bright it was. Chuckling he put his arms up in defence of the brightness and took the flashlight away from her.

"You trying to blind me princess ?" He laughed.
Y/n gave out a chuckle
He'd now had the flashlight and shined it on y/n.

She looked straight at him
Smiling

He grinned.

"Come on. We'll see if he has a chair or something hidden in his tent " he suggested.

Looking through the dead man's things they found a folding chair, batteries, a hunting knife and a box of food.
It was only small but it had enough in to last a day or two.

"Oo he has a cool knife" y/n noticed the knife straight away.

Cody holding it handed it to y/n her face brightening up
