"And do you Virginia, take Cornelius to be your husband?" the preacher asked."I do." she nodded.
"And do you, Cornelius, take Virginia to be your wife?" he turned to the young man.
A silence fell over the room as they awaited his response, he took a deep breath as he gazed
deep into the eyes of his bride to be. It reminded him of the first time they met, the way her
eyes sparkled, they reminded him of the forest and complimented her long brown hair.
"I do." he smiled, his eyes not leaving hers.
"Well then," the preacher grinned, "I now pronounce you husband and wife. You know
what to do from here." he playfully winked as they embraced each other.
Virginia thought she was just about the luckiest girl in the world, as she had one of the
most striking and wealthiest men in the area wrapped around her finger. She'd never have to want
again because she'd have everything she needed, Cornelius declared this in a speech. He was
captivated by her, hypnotized even, but would he love her in health and in sickness? Would he
love her for better or worse? Would he love her when she was old and declining? Maybe.
Will you stick around to find out...?
