"Oi Snivellus," a burst of laughter came from the black-haired boy, Sirius Black with a stupid grin plastered on his face with his gangs coming towards her. She was in the courtyard and leaning against the tree trunk. The bell just rang to say that the class session was over, today.

"Why can't I study in peace," she mumbled to herself before gripping her wand in her hand as she glared at the boy.

"Can you not bother me! Don't you see I'm studying," I snarled as Sirius looked at me as if I was joking.

"Can you not bother me! Don't you see I'm studying," he imitated her with a high and squeaking voice to resemble the high-pitched voice of a girl. "That's how you sound. Like a girl!" he barked at her which caused her shoulder to slump down with a hint of anger and annoyance. "Isn't that right, prongs," he glanced at the brown-haired boy with glasses. James Potter.

James laughed to himself before going straight to her and grabbing her notebook that she was writing. "Hey! Give it back, you slimy slug!" she tried to grab the notebook as James Potter held it above his head. "Hey mates, look how short and small, Snivellus is." With a hummed as he stared at Severina's conflicted face. "I wonder why Lily who is the sweetest girl in the whole world would have a friend like you who is not only an ugly git but a slimeball too," he insulted her.

Severina tried to fight back the tears as she knew the insult should not be that painful compared to the merciless prank that they pulled on her. Suddenly, a thought occurred to her.

"Hmm, maybe that's why Lily doesn't go out with you. Because you're a prick, Potter," she counter-back with a smirk as she was satisfied with Potter's face turned like a hot lava ready to explode. Severina's eyes landed on James Potter's hand ready to hex her before she knew it.

"Expelliarmus," as words came out from her mouth, the wand that Potter held was whipped out of his hand. With a quick reflex, she hexes the Marauders to levitate and fall flat back on the wall.

"Severus! What are you doing to them?!" Lily exclaimed from the back and walked past Severina and helped Potter.

"Why are you helping them? They were trying to bully me," Severina looked at her friend in disbelief.

"Even if they were bullying you. You should know better than to not resort to violence. I know that you're a Slytherin. But I thought since you're my friend, you would be different than the other Slytherin. James is right, I'm not going to able to convince you, Am I?" she's more questioned herself.

"Lily..."

That's when Severina realized in front of her was not her friend. If she's truly her friend, she would defend and protect her just like she hoped her mother would protect her from her father. A trembling quiver lips but she shut it.

"You know what, Lily? You're right. You're not going to convince me," she stated before walking off.

Lily stood there frozen her glossy eyes betraying her as water came down her face. The Marauders looked at Lily and Severus's fights. James was supposed to feel some kind of happiness since he already eliminated his rival and he could capture Lily's heart for five years in Hogwarts. But he felt empty.

After a few scolding and flirting with Lily, he told his friend that he needed to run in the forest to take his mind off before going for quidditch training. He turned into his animagus form before roaming through the forest.

As he roamed the forest, he didn't realize that he would see the forest nymph again who was dancing gracefully as he saw the night before. There he saw her spinning without stopping as if the nymph wanted to escape from reality. As he was enchanted by her beauty, he didn't realize he moved forward and snapped a twig. He winced at the sound.

That sound caused the girl to snap in his direction.

"Who's there?" she asked. Something about her voice seems so familiar. He mustered his courage and revealed himself in his stag form, this caused the girl to seem more relaxed.

"Oh, it's just a bloody deer," she huffed and went to the deer.

"You're not trying to run away like last night, huh," she teased at the deer and stroked its mane with a soft smile plastered on her face. Her eyes looked straight to the stag's eye. James was flabbergasted by her action and couldn't comprehend that she was real. SHE WAS REAL!

As she stroked his mane with a sad look. "It must be nice being a deer. Don't have to face discrimination from other people," she stated before going to a big tree and sitting down. She tapped to her side encouraging the stag to sit beside her. James's hooves walked and sat beside her as she continued to stroke his mane. She sighed out loud.

"Why does everyone hate me? Am I cursed or something," she said what spoke in her mind out loud. This caused James to freeze at her words before he knew it, he nuzzled at her hands and made her giggle at his action.

"I guess not everyone hates me. I think you like me, huh?" she chuckled as the stag nuzzled her more, she huffed out loud.

"It must be nice being a deer, running free in the forest. No one to shout at you or throw insults at you. You get to be free from everything. Sometimes I'm jealous of animals like you because you get to escape your problem," she stated before the bells chimed loudly. The girl's head snapped in that direction and tsked her tongue.

"Back to my miserable life, again." She stood up and grabbed her wand with a transfiguration spell to turn her dress into her Slytherin uniform in front of the stag. She tried to cough a few times and readjust her voice to sound more boyish, she stared at the stag.

"Please keep it a secret about this. Thank you," with a smile she kissed the stag before running off to the castle.

The stag transformed back into James Potter, his eyes widened by the interaction earlier and the surprise plot twist.  Something dawned on Potter.

Severus was always a girl.
