"So, what happened? Brook you scared me so fucking bad." Jhenè sniffed, wiping her nose as her and Celine stood on the aide of the hospital bed, Brooklyn having just woken up.
"I'm sorry sister. I-I just was going through a lot, and my boyfriend—." Brooklyn was cut off by Celine scoffing.
"He gave you drugs?! What kind of boyfriend does that, Brook? You could've came to family! Drugs doesn't solve nothing, because all the shit you tryna numb gone hit you ten times harder when you're sober!" Jhené went off, anger running through her body.
"I just needed to feel okay." Brooklyn's voice cracked, and she quickly wiped her face before a tear could fall.
"And i understand that, but you had that man around my baby. That shit is unforgivable. I don't even trust you anymore." Jhené spoke back, which made Celine sigh, grabbing Jhene's arm, pulling her out the room as Brooklyn began to cry. Jhene was a hundred percent correct, but it hurt to hear.
"Go home, and rest, Michelle. You're getting worked up, and I don't want nothing to happen to the baby." Celine spoke softly, and Jhene's heart sank.
"M—."
"Nope. I could already tell so no denying it." Celine smiled, kissing her cheek.
"I love you, ma. Tell Brook I said I love her too." Jhené hugged her one last time before heading to the waiting room, texting Von.
