Ragnars pov

I was walking around happy harbor when I get a comm call from nightwing

Ragnar: leviathan

Dick: Ragnar I need you to head to Arizona and help blue beetle

Ragnar: ok I'll be there soon tell him to wait

I walk to the zetatube and hard to blue beetles coordinates

Jaime: hey Ragnar

Ragnar: hey kid so where were they last seen

Jaime: bus station a few miles from here

Ragnar: let's go

We take off and head to the bus station

Blue: I don't see them

Ragnar: they're around here somewhere let's look

We follow the road eventually we spot them

Ragnar: y'know you kids should be out this late

Me and blue land in front of the kids

Ty: what are you gonna do send us back to star

Ragnar: tell me why you don't want to be there it's the safest place

Virgil: we're lab rats to them

Blue: I know

Ty; no you don't

I look at Jaime and he deactivates his suit

Jaime: actually I do Ty

Ragnar: ok we'll get you to New Mexico and I'll calla friend and he'll get you guys set up

Eduardo: really

Ragnar: yes

Virgil: thanks man we appreciate it

Ragnar: don't mention it

My comm goes off

Ragnar: leviathan

Dick: Ragnar we got a problem at star labs red volcano is back and he's looking for amazo

Ragnar: we're on it Jaime we gotta go

We fly off and head to star with the kids following us

Blue: I'll deal with the boy you get everyone out

Ragnar: be careful kid

I run in and start looking for people when I see the kids run in and start taking people out

Ty: the hallway collapsed

Ragnar: I got it

I walked to the front and punched away the debris and help them get out. Once I got out I saw blue wasn't holding back

Ragnar: blue calm down

He doesn't listen an just keeps going even though red volcano is down so I punched him in the head knocking him out

Ragnar: alright kids do you want to go home or just head out

Ty; we're gonna head out

Ragnar: smart choice here is you ever need anything call this number I'll answer and I'll be there

I pick up blue and get ready to take off

Virgil: hey what's your name man

Ragnar: Ragnar

Vrigil: thanks Ragnar

Ragnar: anytime

I fly off with blue still unconscious I fly to Texas and drop him off at home and head back to happy harbor

Ragnar: kids a blessing and a curse

My comm goes off

Ragnar: leviathan

Dick: Ragnar hey bud you ok pulling watch duty I have a date I can't miss

Ragnar: ya I guess so

I walk into our makeshift headquarters and sit down pulling up a file on rayla

Ragnar: I promise I'll find you

I start reading g when dick walks in

Dick: how do I look

Ragnar: like a stripper

Dick: it's the cologne isn't it

I got up and walk to him helping him fix his shirt

Ragnar: a bit who are you even going on a date with

Dick: Zatanna

Ragnar: really

Dick: ya she wanted to go to this Korean barbecue place

Ragnar: Richard

Dick: why did you call me Richard

Ragnar: if you hurt Zatanna there's no one strong enough to stop me from killing you

Dick: I'm not gonna hurt her

Ragnar: good now go don't keep her waiting

Dick leaves as I see Conner walk in

Conner: hey Ragnar can we talk

Ragnar: sure thing kid

Conner: how do I tell someone you like them

Ragnar: it depends really why

Conner: I'm helping a friend of mine to get a girlfriend but I don't know how to go about it

Ragnar: well my best advice would be tell him be himself don't change

Conner: thanks

Ragnar: anytime

Conner leaves and I lean back thinking about how much I missed having Artemis and Kaldur around. A few hours later I see Megan saunter out looking upset

Ragnar: come here Megan

She walk over and I turn to face her

Ragnar: what's wrong

Megan: I fried kaldurs brain in revenge for Artemis but then

Ragnar; you found out on my dick wall Kaldur and Artemis plan

Megan: ya why did you keep us in the dark

Ragnar: is simple really you wouldn't let Artemis sacrifice herself for this mission and Conner is to

Megan: hard headed

Ragnar: yes so you see why

Megan: I guess so

Ragnar: what's on your mind

Megan: can you give me one of your dad hugs

Ragnar: sure

I get up and hug her as she melts into the hug

Megan: thank you I needed this

I rub Megan's back and hums

Megan: I have a question

Ragnar: yes

Megan: do you see me Conner dick Kaldur Wally Artemis and Zatanna as your kids

Ragnar: in a way I see parts of myself in you guys

Megan: explain

Ragnar: well for starters Megan you care very deeply about the people you love and you fight for them. Conner he's hardheaded and stubborn but he's the first one there for you when you need him. Wally he jokes around a little but he can be serious when need be. Artemis has broken her way out of her parents shadow and made her own future. Dick is cool calm and collected in bad situations. Kaldur can keep a level head in any situation. and Zatanna she is a smart kind and gently person.

Megan: ya your a lot like us aren't you

Ragnar: ya you guys are a lot like me and you guys mean a lot to me
