bryan sometimes has moments where he like. completely forgets how to Human. essentially his brain goes full critter instinct mode & he struggles (or maybe completely forgets how) to do things like talk & shit!! it usually happens when hes stressed & is like. a really bad portal-induced coping mechanism
dylan. doesnt really go through this. maybe its far more rare or its less extreme, but she definitely doesnt struggle with it as much as bryan. and because she doesnt go through it as much but Vaguely Understands how bryans thinking or how he communicates (through chirps, clicking, & other silly critter noises!!), shes usually left babysitting bryan. and since bryan is essentially a big cat... it does Not go well
